Maryland fs       Know all men by these p.rsents that I John Body
                         of London in the Kingdom of England Marriner Doe
                         Acknowledge my selfe to Owe and stand justly Indebted
                         unto Rich.d Welsh of the County of Ann Arrundell in
                         the province or Maryland planter in the full sume
                         of one hundred pounds sterl and Current Money
                         in England the same to be paid to the sd Rich.d
                         Welsh his Ex.rs or Adm.rs or Lawfully Attorney in the
                         the County of Ann Arrundell to the true performance
                         Whereof I bind me my heirs Ex.rs & Administrato.rs
                         sealed with my seale this

       The Condicon of the above Writen Obligacon is such
       that if the above bounden John Body his heirs Ex.rs or
       Adm.rs or any of them shall or Doe well & truely
       hold performe observe full fill and Keep all & singular
       Covenants Grants Articles promisses and agreements w.ch
       on the part and behalfe of him the s.d John Body
       his heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs or any of them are to be holden
       performed observed fullfilled and Kept Contained Written
       Declared & specified on one paire of Indentures beareing
       Date the sixteenth Day of May 1695 Beetweene the
       above Named John Body of the One part & y.e above Named
       Richd Welsh of the other part According to the Tenno.r
       purport true intent and meaneing of the s.d Indenture
       Then this Obligacon to be voyd and of None Effect or else
       to be and Remaine in full force power & vertue

       This Indenture Made the Last Day of July in the Eighth yeare
       of the Reigne of our sovereign Lord W.m the third by y.e Grace of God
       of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defend.r of the Faith
       &c.a And in the yeare of our Lord Christ According to sepatacon
       of the Church of England 1696 Beetween William Leeds of Talbot
       County in the province of Maryland planter of the one part &
       Hugh Sherwood of Talbot County Gent of the other part
