(663) 673 Maryland fs Know all men by these presents that I Phillip Lynes of S.t Marys Citty in the Province of Maryland Merch.t have remised Released acquired discharged & fore ever quite Clayme & by these presents doe remise release acquitt discharge & for ever quite Claime unto John Craycroft of Calvert County in the said province aforesaid Joyn.r all and all Manner of Writt & Writts of ord.r upon any Record whatsoever actions and Causes of actions suites debts accompts reckonings differences & demands whatsoever which ag.t the said John Craycroft Over I had now have or in time to Come Can shall or may have for any matter Cause or thing whatsoever from the begining of the world untill the day before the day of the date hereof In Wittness whereof I the said Philip Lynes have hereunto putt my hand and seale the sixth day of Octob.r 1693 Phillip Lynes Sealed and delivered in the psence of John Llewellin Edw.d Greene Tho Grunwin Maryland fs Know all men by these p.rsents that I S.r Thomas Laurence Barronest Xc.ry of theire Majestyes Province of Maryland am holden and firmly bound unto theire sacred Majestyes King William and Queen Mary &c in the full sum of one thousand pounds sterling Money of England to be paid to theire said Majesteys Sons heires and successors to the which payment well and truly to be made and done I bind my self my heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs firmly by these p.rsents sealed if my seale and dated the twelfth day of October in y.e fifth year of theire Majestyes Reigne Annoq Domini 1693 The Condition of this Obligation is such that Whereas theire Majestyes by theire Lett.rs Pattents have Committed y.e office of Secretary of Maryland to the above bound S.r Thomas Laurence to be by him sold and injoyed during theire Royal pleasure and him the said S.r Thomas Lawrence to take and receive into his possesion and Care all the Bards Court Roles and other Deeds and Papers thereunto belonging Now the Condition of this Obligation is such that if the said S.r Thomas Lawrence doe in all things according to the Obligation and duty of his said office well and truly observe psence and Execute the sume Either by himself or such Clerks as he will answer for without fraud or Covin and well and truly resegie and deliver the same office and all bures and Morpapers writtings and Deeds which shall be to him deliverd Together w.t what shall be received Entred or Enrolled during his Continuance Threin when by theire Majestyes theire heires or successors to the sd S.r Thomas shall be Lawfully discharged therefrom That then this obligation to be voyd or Else to remaine in full force and virtue Signed Sealed and Delivered Thomas Laurence (seale) in p.rsence of Nich Greenberry George Plater Will.m Dent Recorded Augt 18.th 1698 p Chr Gregory Clk |
