(66) The possession of the said Elias Beech being the one [illegible] a parcell of Land called Blew Stone Rock scituate lyeing and being in S.t Maries County aforesaid Containing by Estimacon fifty Acres of Land according to the Division formerly made Between him the said Elias Beech and Thomas Lockier late of S.t Maries County aforesaid deceased together with all rights proffitts benifitts advantages and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging To Have & to Hold the aforesaid parcell of Land with the appurtenances unto the said John Baker his heires and assignes to his and theire owne propper use and behoofe for Ever And the Said Elias Beech and Sarah his Wife doe hereby for themselves theire heires Executors and Adm.rs Covenant promise and grant to and with the Said John Baker his Exec.rs Administrat.rs and assignes by these presents that hee the said John Baker his heires and assignes shall and may for ever hereafter peaceably & quietly Have hold use occupy possess and enjoy the aforesaid parcell of Land with the appurtenances without the Lett trouble molestacon Evicon or disturbance of any person or persons whatsoever Lawfully Claymeing or p.rtending to have any Estate Right Title or Interest of in or to the Same or any part or pcell thereof from by or under them the said Elias Beech and Sarah his wife or either of them theire or either of theire heires Exec.rs or Adm.rs And that they the said Elias Beech and Sarah his wife theire heires Executo.rs & Adm.rs will warrant ^& defend^ the same unto the said John Baker his heires and assignes for Ever against all manner of persons whatsoever And further that the said Elias Beech and Sarah his wife theire heires Executors and Admin.rs shall and will at any time within Seaven yeares next after the date hereof make doe suffer and acknowledge or Cause to be made done suffered and acknowledged all such further and other reasonable and Lawfull Acts things and devices in the Law at the propper Costs and Charges of the said John Baker the Executo.rs and Adm.rs Whatsoever for the further better and more sure Conveying assureing and suremakeing of the Land and p.rmisses hereby bargained and sould unto the Said John Baker his heires and assignes for Ever as to the said John Baker his heires and assignes or his or theire Councell Learned in the Law shall seeme Meete In witnesse whereof the parties first above named to these present Indentures have hereunto sett theire hands and seales the day and yeare first above written Sealed and delivered in p.rsence of Elias Beech Sealed John Quigly & W.m Cornwalyes Sarah Beech sealed On the back side of the aforegoeing deed was thus written June y.e 17.th 1678 The within written deed of Conveyance was then acknowledged in open Court by the w.thin named Elias Beech to bee his Act and deed to the uses therein menconed And also Sarah the wife of the Said Elias being privately examined due likewise acknowledge your Consent to the sale of the within menconed Land w.th the appurtenances and that she did it without the coertion or compultion of her said husband Nicho Painter Cl Cur Prov.all This Indenture made the five and twentieth day of May in the 3.d yeare of the Dominion of Charles absolute lord and proprietary of the province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore Annoq Dom one thousand six hundred Seaventy eight Between the Maior Recorder Aldermen and Common Councill of the Citty of S.t Maries in the said province on the one part and William Thomas of S.t Maries County in the said province planter on the other party Witnesseth that whereas at a gen.ll Assembly begun and Held at the Citty of S.t Maries the fifteenth day of May in the yeare of our Lord One thousand six hundred seaventy six It was by a Certaine Act entituled an Act for the sett being the Inheritance of the Reall Estate of Robert Cager as also his psonall Estate upon the Maior Recorder Aldermen and Comon Councill of the Citty of S.t and theire successors to the uses in the said Robert Cagers will menconed It was amongst other things therein mconed rescited that whereas Robert Cager Late of S.t Georges Sound and in the County of S.t Maries deceased was in his life time seized in his demeasne as of Fee of seaverall |
