641) 651 Tenement land and premisses unto the said Elizabeth Baker her heires & assignes to the onely proper use and behoofe of her the said Elizabeth and of her heires for ever Bee it by fine feoffement release confirmacon deed or deeds Enrolled or not Enrolled or by the acknowledgement & enrollment of these presents or by any other lawfull wayes or meanes whatsoever as by the said Elizabeth Baker her heires or assignes or his or their Councill learned in the law shall be reasonably devised or advised & required In Witnes whereof the parties aforesaid to their Indentures interchangeably have put their hands and seales the day and yeare first above Written Sealed & delivered in the psence of Tho Loker (Seale) Thomas Lerkin Elias Beech (Seale) William WR Ryland his marke Memo Endorsed May the 4.th 1693 Thomas Grunwin Came the within named Elias Beech and Thomas Loker into the Provinciall Court and acknowledged the within written according to Recorded 10.th June 1693 act of assembly to be their act and deed to the uses therein menconed W Taylard Clk This Indenture made the Fourth day of May In the yeare of o.r Lord one thousand Six hundred Ninety and three Beetweene Robert Burman of the Province of Maryland Marchant and Anna his wife on the one part and George Copley of the City of London Merchant on the other part Wittnesseth that the said Robert Burman & Anna his wife for and in Consideracon of the sume of Five shillings of lawfull Money of England to them in hand now paid before the ensealing hereof by the said George Copley on his assignes and of a Certaine Competent Sume of lawfull Money of England formerly paid by the said George Copley the receipt whereof they the said Robert Burman and Anna his wife doe hereby acknowledge and and themselves thereof and therewith fully satisfied and thereof and of every part thereof doe clearly acquite and discharge the said George Copley his heirs Ex.rs and Administrat.rs and every of them for ever by these presents have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed & by these p.rsents doe fully clearly and absolutely grant bargaine sell Alien Enfeoffe & Confirme unto the said George Copley All that tract or parcell of Land Called Burmans Adventure Lying in Baltemore County in the said Province of Maryland & upon the North sides of Patapscoe River and upon the East side of the midle branch of the said River Begining at a bounded red oake standing by the said branch and runing then up the branch North North West foure hundred perches then runing East North East foure hundred perches then runing South East Foure hundred perches |
