556 (546 This Indenture made the Fiftenth day of August in the third yeare of the Reigne of our soveraign Lord and Lady King William & Queen Mary &c Annoq.r Dom 1691 Betweene Richard Keene of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland Gent and Mary his wife of the one part and Andrew Abington of the same County and Province aforesaid Gent on the othe other part Witnesseth That the said Richard Keene and Mary his wife as well for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds of good and Lawfull Mony of England as alsoe for the sum of Fourty thousand pounds of Tobacco good sound Merchantable tobacco and Caske to the said Richard Keene & Mary his wife in hand well and truely paid and secured to be paid by the sd Andrew Abington before the Ensealing & delivery hereof the receip whereof they doe hereby acknowledge and therewith fully satisfied and paid and thereof & every part and parcell thereof Doe hereby acquitt exonerate and discharge the said Andrew Abington his heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs and every of them by these Presents Have given granted aliened bargained sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these present doe fully freely and absolutely give grant alien bargaine sell Enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said Andrew Abington his heires & assignes for ever All that Tract parcell or dividend of Land being part of S.t Richards Mannour Scituate lyeing and being upon the south side of Patuxent River And bounding on the North with S.t Lawrence Creeke and a parallel lyne drawne from the westermost bite of the said Creeke where the Mannour of S.t Gregories ends due West untill it intersect the pathway leading over the head of S.t Lawrences Creeke on the West with a meridean line drawen from the said intersection for the length of two hundred & seaventy perches on the South with a line drawne East Five hundred twenty five pearches to a tree standing Neare the afsd path commonly knowne by the Name of the R K Tree then with the path that leads toward Homming Creeke these following courses and distances (Viz.t) North forty degrees Westerly twenty two pearches then North seven degrees Westerly Eighteen pearches Then North twelve degrees westerly sixteene perches then North sixteene degrees Westly sixteene perches then North Nine degrees Easterly twenty four pearches then North sixteene degrees Easterly twenty four pearches then North forty two degrees Easterly Eight pearches then North seaventy degrees Easterly twenty pearches then North Eighty one degrees Easterly twenty five perches then North forty two degrees Easterly twenty eight pearches then Nort Fifty six degrees Easterly twenty six perches then North eighty three deagres Easterly twenty two pearches then North Sixty five degrees Easterly Eleaven perches then North Fifty one degrees Easterly twenty three pearches then North Seaventy one degrees Easterly Nine pearches then North fourteene degrees Easterly twenty perches to the head of the Maine Branch of Homming Creek And with the said Branch and Creek to Patuxent River and then bounding to ^with^ the said River to the Mouth of the sd Lawrence Creeke Contayning by Estimacon Eight hundred Acres of Land (be the same more or less) Together with all Messuages Tenements dwelling houses barnes out houses tobacco houses Gardens & Orchards to the said Dividend or parcell of land belonging or in any wise ap.rteyning and all Timber and timber trees woods underwoods Fences rents profitts Comodityes and appurtennances thereunto belonging or in any wise app.rteyning and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents Issues & Proffitts whatsoever of all and singular the aforemenconed Dividend or parcell of Land with the |
