       Bounder Containeing three hundred acres more or lesse Together with al Rights benefitts
       Priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging And all writings Patents Escripts and
       Miniments which doe any wayes touch or concerne the same To have and to hold the said
       tract of Land and premisses with the Appurtenances unto him the said Thomas Smith his heyres
       & Assignes to his and their own proper use and behoof for ever free and cleer of all incumbrances
       whatsoever (the Rents and Services hereafter to become due to the Lord of the fee of the
       Premisses onely Excepted) And the said George Smith for himselfe his heyres Executors &
       Adm.rs doth Covenant promise and Grant to and with the Said Thomas Smith his heyres and
       assignes ^by these presents that the said Thomas Smith his heyres and Assignes^ shall & may for ever hereafter peaceably and quietly have hold possesse and Enjoy the
       aforesaid parcell of land and premisses with the Appurtenances without the lett Suite or eviccon
       of any person whatsoever And that he the Said George Smith his heyres Ex.rs and Adm.rs shall &
       will warrant and defend the sayd land & premisses unto the said Thomas Smith his heyres & Assignes
       for ever against all persons whatsoever In Wittnes whereof the partyes first above named have
       hereunto interchangeably sett their hands & seales the day & yeare first above written

                                              on the back side of the aforegoing Deed was thus written viz.t

    February 19.th 1677
       The within written deed of Conveyance was then in open Court Acknowledged by the
       within named Thomas Doxey Attorney of George Smith to be his Act and Deed to the uses
       therein menconed; & Elizabeth the wife of the said George gave her free Consent to the sale
       of the within menconed land and p.rmisses and acknowledged that she did it without Compulsion

       To all Christian People to whome this present writeing shall come know yee that I George Smith
       of Point looke out Planter for divers Causes and Consideracons me thereunto Especially moveing have
       made ordained & Constituted and in my place and stead putt and Authorized Thomas Doxey my true
       Sufficient and lawfull Attorney for me & in my name & form my use to enter into a tract of land Called
       Cambridge in the County of Sumersett and in the advowson of or belonging to the said tract of land and
       into every part & parcell thereof Scytuate lying and being on the East Side of the Chesepick Bay neere
       Nantecoke River bounded as followeth begining att a marked Read Oake being a corner tree of
       a Parcell of land serveyed for John Craycroft thence with a line Drawne South South East up
       Baron Creeke Nynty perches to a marked Gum thence with a line drawne North North West Nynty
       perches to a marked Pyne and from thence with a right line drawn to the first bounder contayning
       Three hundred Acres more or lesse and the Same Parcell or tract of land for me and in my name
       to vieu and Survey & by these presents for me and in my name doe give full Power and Authority to
       the Said Thomas Doxey for me and in my name to bargain sell lease or grant to such person and
       persons and for Such Estates for life or lives inheritance or otherwise & for such sume & sums of money
       as to my Said Attorney shalbe Thought made and Convenient to the uttermost and best Comodity
       and profitts of me the Said George Smith and the Deed and deeds of the same grant & Estates soe to be
       made for me and in my name to Seale and as my Deed to Deliver unto the parties to whom the
       Same shalbe soe made or to any other to their use and uses and the Counterparts of the same
       for me an din my name to Accept and Receive Giving and by these presents granting to my said Attorney
       my full power and ^lawfull^ Authority touching and Concerning the premisses to doe Execute proceed and finish
       in all things in as ample manno.r and for me to all intents & purposes as I the Said George Smith might or
       ought to do if I were then and there present and ratifie and Allow all and whatsoever my said Attorney
       shall doe in or about the premisses according to the true intent and meaning of these presents in Wittnes whereof I
       have hereunto putt my hand and seale this fourteenth day of Decemb.r Anno Domi 1677
