492 (482 Law whatsoever for the further more better and perfect Assureances & sure makeing of the sure makeing the said Pcell of Land Houses and all that the Premisses with the Appurtenances above by these presents Mentioned to be Bargained and sold unto the said Robert Hopkins his Heirs or Assignes for Ever by Fine or Fines Recoverie or Recoveries The Enroulement or Acknowledgements of these Presents Release Confirmation with Warranty against the said John Addison his Heirs Ex.rs Admi.rs or Assignes or without warranty or by all any or as many of the wayes means and devices aforesaid or by any other wayes or means whatsoever as by the said Robert Hopkins his Heirs or any of their Heirs or Assignes or by their or Either of their Counsell Learned in the Law shall be Reasonably devised or Advised and Required In Wittness whereof the Parties above named have to this present Indenture sett their Hands & seals the Day and Year above Written John Addison (sealed Signed Sealed & Delivered by the within John Addison in the Presence of On the Backside of the aforesaid Recited Deed was Endorsed as Henry Hanslap followeth W.m Blanckenstein October the 12.th 1688 Richard Tull The within Written Deed to the uses therein Mentioned And Rebecca the wife of the said John Addison being privately Examined acknowledged that she gave her free Consent to the saile of the within Menconed Premisses without any fear Threats or Displeasure of her said Husband In Testimony whereof wee have hereunto subscribed our names the Day and Year first above written Octob.r 12.th 1688 Rec.d of Richard Tull for acc.tt of Robert Hopkins four shillings ster being for the Alienacon of the within mentioned premisses Henry Darnall I say rec.d P Nicholas Sewall Recorded Octob.r y.e 22.d 1688 Nicholas Sewall P Richard Tull This Indenture made the Fifteenth Day of November in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty & Eight Betweene John Nuthall of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland sonne of John Nuthall late of S.t Maries County deceased and Barbara the wife of the said John the sonne on the one part And Elizabeth Baker of S.t Maries County aforesaid widow on the other part Wittnesseth That for and in Consederation of the sume of sixteene hundred pounds of Tobacco to the said John Nuthall the sonne in hand paid at and before the Ensealing hereof by the said Elizabeth Baker the receipt whereof he the said John the sonne doth hereby acknowledge accordingly and himselfe to be therewith fully sattisfied And of and from the same doth clearly acquitt and discharge the said Elizabeth Baker her Executors and Adm.rs and every of them for ever by these presents Hee the said John Nuthall the sonne Hath given graunted bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed and by these presents the said John & Barbara his wife doe fully clearly & absolutely Give Graunt Bargaine sell Alien Enfeoffe & Confirme unto the said Elizabeth Baker and her Heires All that Tract peice or pcell of land lying and being near the City of S.t Maries in S.t Maries County aforesaid on the North side of S.t Inagoes Creeke formerly called Towne land being neere to the land formerly graunted to Leu.t William Lewis Begining at a |
