                                               1677
       Know all men by these p.rsents That I Francis Hill of S.t Georges Hundred in the
       County of S.t Maries Planter being now bound for England & reposeing especiall
       trust & confidence in my welbeloved Friends John Wynne of S.t Maries County
       Chirurgeon & Peter Watts of the same County Planter have deputed constituted
       & appointed & by these p.rsents doe depute constitute appoint & in my stead
       and place putt the said John Wynne & Peter Watts to be my true & lawfull
       Attorneyes joyntly & severally to act doe transact & manage all & singular
       my affairs in the said Province of Maryland with full & absolute power for
       me & in my name all & singular the Lands & Plantations belonging to me the
       said Francis in Maryland aforesaid to sell & dispose & Conveyance or Conveyances
       thereof to make seale & deliver and the same in Court to acknowledge as fully
       & to all intents & purposes as if I the said Francis were then & there
       personally p.rsent to doe & performe the same with like full & absolute
       power for me & in my name but to my Use the said Plantations & Lands
       to lease sett or lett us they shall think fitt & the Stock of Cattle horses
       hoggs & houshold stuff & goods to sell & dispose at pleasure also any debt or
       debts that are or shall be due unto me the said Francis within the said
       Province my said Attornyes or or either of them the said Debtors for me &
       in my name but to my use to sue implead & prosecute & my debt to recover
       & their goods & Chattells to Seize or their persons for the same in prison
       to putt & the same upon payment or composition to discharge at pleasure &
       release or releases for me & in my name to make seale & deliver & for
       the more sure doeing of all & singular the p.rmisses giveing power unto my said
       Attornyes or either of them One Attorney or more under them to constitute
       & appoint & the same againe at pleasure to revoake Giveing unto my said
       Attornyes & either of them in my full power full strenght & authority to act
       & doe all & singular the p.rmisses & every or any of them in my absence
       as fully amply & to all intents & purposes whatsoever in as full & large
       a manner as if I my Selfe were in the said Province of Maryland personally
       present to act doe & performe the same Hereby ratifieing conformeing allowing &
       holding for good firme substantiall & effectuall in the Law all that my said
       Attornyes or either of them shall doe or cause to be done in the premisses
       or any of them In wittnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale
       the seventh day of July in the yeare of Our Lord God One thousand six hundred
       seventy six

     John Dent            Came before me Robert Ridgely & made Oath that he saw the
     Will Dent             abovenamed Francis Hill the Constituant Signe Seale & deliver
                                the said Letter of Attorny as his Act & deed thereunto he sett

       Richard Johns of S.t Maryes County desired the marke of his hoggs & Cattle might be Recorded
       which is as followeth slitt & cropt in the right eare underkeeld in the left eare

May 25.th 1678
       Henry Lewis of S.t Maryes County desired the marke of his hoggs & Cattle might be Recorded
       which is as followeth two underkeels in the right eare underkeeld & cropt in the left yeare
       David Lewis of S.t Maryes County desired the marke of his Cattle & hoggs might be Recorded which
       is as followeth two underkeeles in the left yeare underkeeld & cropt in the right eare
