445) 455 Know all men by these presents That I Robert Bridgeforth of the Precinct of White fryers London Taylor Have made ordeined & Constituted And by these presents doe make ordeine ^constitute^ and Appoint Robert Carvile of Maryland Gent my true and Lawfull Attorney for me and in my name and for my use to Aske Demand and Receive of M.r George Parker and M.r Henry Johnson both of Maryland afores.d Gent all such sume & sums of Money as they or either of them are any waies indebted or doe owe unto me And upon nonpayment thereof the s.d George Parker and Henry Johnson their Execut.rs or adm.rs for me and in my name to sue Arrest and Imprison Implead and Prosecute for the same and upon such suite to proceed to Judgm.t and Execution and thereupon the s.d George Parker and Henry Johnson their Execut.rs and Administrators in Prison to hold and Keep untill payment thereof be made with all Costs & Damages susteyned and to be susteyned by occasion of the same and upon paym.t thereof the s.d George Parker and Henry Johnson their Ex.rs and Adm.rs forth of Prison to discharge and Acquittance for the same or any part thereof for me and in my Name to Make and Deliver And alsoe to doe Perform and Execute all and every other lawfull and Reasonable Acts and things whatsoever both for Obteyning and discharging of the same as shall be needfull to be done Giveing and by these presents Granting unto my said Attorney my full and Absolute Power in the premisses Ratyfyeing and Holding firm all and whatsoever my s.d Attorney shall doe or Cause to be done in or about the Premisses by Vertue of these Psents In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my Hand and seale the Twentieth Day of July in the Third Year of the Reigne of our soveraign Lord James the second by the Grace of God ^King^ of England Scotland France and Ireland Defender of the Faith &c Annoq Dm 1687 Sealed & Delivered Robert Bridgforth in the Presence of Feb.ry y.e 3.d 1687 Joshua Doyne Came then Joshua Doyne and made Oath that he saw the Francis Partis Party first above named signe seal & Deliver it as his Act John Walls and Deed before me Feb.ry y.e 3.d 1687 W.m Digges R Tull Clk This Indenture made the Eighth day of Aprill in the Twelfth yeare of the Dominion of the Right Hon.ble Charles Absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore And in the yeare of Our Lord God One thousand six hundred Eighty and seaven Betweene George Thompson of S.t Maryes County in the Province of Maryland gent of the one partie And John Brome of Calvert County in the said Province of Maryland Inn Holder of the other partie Witnesseth That the said George Thompson for and in Consideracon of the full sume and Just quantity of Tobacco & Casque to him the said George Thompson in hand well and truely paid and secured to bee paid by the said John Brome att and before Insealeing & delivery of these p.rsents the Receipt whereof hee the said George |
