442 (432 on the backe side of the afor reccitted deed was Endorsed as followeth Memorandum that the 25.th of Aprill annoq.r Dim 1687 Came before us William Hatton & Kenelm Cheseldyn two of his Lopp Commissioners of S.t Maryes County Robert Mason and Susanna his wife whoe being Examined as to her Consent to the said sale w.th her said husband acknowledged that shee did the same voluntaryly without anÿ Constraint of her said husband and soe theÿ did both acknowledge same as their act and Deed to the purposes & Intents within Mentioned as wittness our hands Will Hatton Kenelm Cheseldyn This Indenture Made the twentieth day off Aprill one thousand six hundred Eightÿ seaven Between Thomas Simpson of S.t Maryes Countÿ in the Province of Maryland planter of the one part and Robert Hagar of the said place planter on the other part Wittnesseth that the said Thomas Simpson for & in Consideration of five thousand pounds of tobbacco in Caske to him the said Thomas Simpson before the Ensealing & Deliverÿ of these Presents by the said Robert Hagar Well and truely paid the receipt the said Thomas Simpson doth herebÿ acknowledge & himselfe therew.th fully satisfied & Contented and of Everÿ part & parcell thereof doth Clearlÿ acquit Exonorate and Discharge the said Robert Hagar his heires Ex.rs & adm.rs & Everÿ of them by these Presents hath given granted aliened bargained sold assigned transferd Enfeoffeed & Confirmed and Bÿ these Presents Doth give grant alien bargain sell assigne tras fer Enfeoffee & Confirmed unto him the said Robert Hagar his heires and assignes for Ever all that Parcell or tract of Land Lying scituate & being in S.t Maries Countÿ being part of a parcell of Land called S.t Georges begining at a bounded oake of M.r Marmaducke Simms standing on the west side of Piles fresh and bounding upon the said simms West & bÿ south three hundred and twentÿ Perches to two bound trees the one a Red oake the other a dogwood thence south & by East fiftÿ p.rches to a bounded white oake thence East & by North three hundred & Twentÿ pches to the side of piles fresh thence binding w.th the fresh and thee fresh Runns to the first bounded tree Containing one hundred Acres More or Less together with all houses Edefices buildings structures orchards Gardens Fishings & foulings & all & singular other appurtenances and priviledges to the said Land belonging or in any Manner of waÿ appurtaining To have and to hold the said Land & p.rmisses w.th their & Everÿ of their Rights Members and appurtenances or priviledges before bÿ these psents bargained and sold or herebÿ Intended to bee bargained & sold Together |
