393) 402 Barbados Know all men by these p.rsents that I W.m Lowger of the Island of Barbados aforesaid Merchant for divers goods and Valluable Consideracons mee here unto moveing have made ordained Constituted appointed and in my Stead and place put and deputed and by these presents doe make ordaine Authorize Constitute appoint and in my stead and in my place put and depute my trusty and well beloved friend the hon.ble W.m Steevens Esq of Maryland my true and lawfull Atturney and for me and in my name to aske demand and sue for Levy require recover and receive all such sume and sumes of money tobaccoe goods wares Merchandizes of what quality soe ever be due unto me by bill bond booke Consignem.ts or otherwise from any manner of person whatsoever giveing and hereby granting unto my said Atturney my full and whole power and Authority to Implead Arrest attach & imprison such pson or psons that shall refuse to accompt or make satisfaccon and att the pleasure of my said Attourney againe to release acquittances and other discharges for me and in my name (if neede be to signe seale and Execute one or more Atturneys under him to make and substitute (if occasion require with like and limited power Ratifieing allowing and Confirming all and whatever my said Atturney shall legally doe in the premisses for Vallue to all intent and purposes whatsoever as if Constitutor were psonally pesent in wittnesse whereof I have to this Letter of Attourney sett my hand seale this seaventh day of Aprill one thousand six hundred Eighty five Signd Seald & Deliverd In y.e psents of W.m Lowger (seale) Richard Morgan Samuell Sandford This Indenture made the seaventeenth day of December Annoq Dom 1685 and in the Eleaventh yeare of the Dominion of the Right hono.ble Charles absolute Lord & Prop.r of the provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore &c Betweene Thomas Sympson Sen.r of S.t Maries County in the said province of Maryland planter on the one part and Thomas Sympson Jun.r of the same County sonne & heire apparent of the said Thomas the Elder on the other part Wittnesseth That for the naturall love & affecon which the said Thomas Sympson the Elder hath & beareth unto his said sonne Thomas Sympson & for the sume of Five shillings by the said Thomas Sympson the younger for the said Thomas the Elder in hand paid The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said Thomas the Elder And for divers other good Causes and Consideracons him the said Tho Sympson y.e Elder thereunto moving Hee the said Thomas Sympson the Elder Hath given grannted bargained sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these presents Doth fully freely Clearly and Absolutely give grant bargaine sell Enfeoffe & Confirme unto that Thomas Sympson the sonne & his heires for Ever All that Messuage or tenement and plantacon scituate lying & being in S.t Maries County aforesaid now in the |
