317 (308 The whole or any part or parcell thereof Ratifieing and holding for firme Good and stable whatsoever my said Attorny his Attorny substitute or substitutes under him or any of them shall Legally act doe or cause to be done in all Respective places whatsoever in or about the premisses aforesaid Either in the whole or any part or parcell thereof as fully Ampely & Largely as I my selfe might or could doe or cause to be done were I then and there at that time and times place or places personally present In wittness whereof I have hereunto putt my hand and seale this third day September in the Thirty five yeare of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord Charles the seccond by the Grace of God King of England &c.a and in the yeare of our Lord God according to Computatione of the Church of England now used One Thousand six hundred Eighty & three Sealed and delivred in the presence of Will Barnes Anthony Wood (seale) Edm Croston Proved by Edmond Croston and James Evelston (hereof Jas Evelston the wittnesses) this third day of Apprile 1684 before me Hen Watmough C Baltemore Know all men by these presents that whereas Anthony Wood of Liverpoole in the County of Lancaster Iron Mongar in the Kingdome of England hath Constituted and appointed Me Robert Crossman of the same place his true and Lawfull Attorny in his name to aske demand sue for and Recover & Receive of and from one Marke Cordea in the province of Maryland all such summe & sumes of mony as are due and oweing to him the said Anthony from him the said Cordea by two Certain Instruments of writting under the said Cordeas hand with penalty of Foure hundred & Eighty pounds to which Relation being had more fully doth appeare as alsoe all other debts by what waies or meanes Due and oweing to him the said Anthony from him the said Cordea And alsoe hath Invested me the said Robert Crossman with sufficient and ample power to act and doe in Relation to the Recovery of the same what to me shall seem meet and Convenient and Ratifieing and Confirming the same as good firme and of value for Ever as by his said Letter of Attorny at Large doth appeare Now know yee that I the said Robert Crossman do p these p.rsents according to my power in the said Letter of Attorny from the said Anthony Wood of makeing one or more Attorny or attornyes under me Constitute and appoint my trusty and well beloved friend Randolph Hinson of S.t Maryes County my true and Lawfull Attorny under me And do hereby give and Grant unto the said Randolph my full power and Authority by the said Letter of Attorny to me given in the name of the said Anthony Wood to Arrest sue and Imprison and Implead the said Marke Cordea for any debt or debts due and oweing from him the sd Cordea to him the said Wood be any waies or meanes whatsoever and before all and all mann.r of Judges & Justices in all Courts and places against the said Marke to prosecute sute in Law and one or more Attornyes under him to appoint and at his pleasure to Revoke and with the said Cordea in the name of the said Anthony Wood to Compound for the same and upon Composition thereof the said Marke Cordea out of prison to deliver and Generally to act and doe what my said Attorny shall think fitt for the arresting Imprisoning and discharging of the said Cordea all which I do p these presents allowe as good firme and of value for Ever as if I my selfe or the said Anthony Wood were there psonally present In wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this 28 day of Aprill 1684 Ro Crossman (seal) |
