305) 314 The Condition of this Obligation is such that whereas the said William Thomas and Susan his wife by their Indenture bearing date the first day of Febry last past for the Conndecon of Nineteen thousand pounds of tob to them paied did grant bargaine and sell to the said Charles Edgerton his heires and assignes for Ever All that tract of Land called Pinkney Marsh in S.t Maryes County with the appurtinances Conteyning two hundred acres in y.e said Indenture pticullarly mentioned with Generall warranty and Covenant or making further assureance and Other Covinants in the said Indenture conteyned on the part and behalfe of the said William and Susan to be done and pformed as by the said Indenture may more plainely appeare if therefore the said William Thomas and Susan his wife their heires Exec.rs and adminis.rs doe and shall well and truely observe performe fullfill and keep all and singul.r the Articlles Covenants and agreem.ts in the said Indenture Contayned which on his and their prst and behalfes are to be observed fullfilled and kept according to the true Intent and meaning of the said Indenture Then this present Obligation to be void and of non Effect or Else to stand and remaine in full force power & vertue his Sealed and delivred William W Thomas (seal) in the presence of M Miller marke Jn.o Baker Proved in Open Court the third day of December 1684 by acknowledgem.t of Will Thomas Tho Grunwin Clk This Indenture made the Fifteen day of September in the Nineth year of The Dominion of the R.t Hono.ble Charles absolute Lord and prop.ry of the province of Maryland and Avalon &c.a Annoq.r Dom 1684 Between William Dixon of Miles River in the County of Talbott in the said province of Maryland and Elizabeth his wife sister and sole heire to John Garey Late of Calvert County in the said province planter deceased of the One part and William Sharpe of Talbott ^Island^ Creek in the said County of Talbott aforesaid in the said province planter of the other part Wittnesseth that the said William Dixon and Elizabeth his wife for and in Consideration of the Summe of One hundred pounds sterl to them the said William Dixon and Elizabeth his said wife or one of them well and truely paied before y.e Ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof they the said William Dixon and Elizabeth his said wife doe hereby acknowledge and thereof and of Every part and parcell thereof doth acquitt Exonerate and discharge the said William Sharpe his heires Executors and Administrators by these presents hath given granted bargained sold aliened Released Enfeofed and Confirmed and by these presents do give grant bargin sell alien Release Enfeofe and Confirme unto the said William Sharpe his heires and assignes for Ever (except as herein after is Excepted) All that plantation tract divident or parcell of Land called or knowne by the name of Garyes Chance Lyeing on the west side of Chesapick Bay on the Clifts in Calvert County begining at the Southmost Corner tree of a parcell of Land formerly Laid out for Robert Rockwell of the said province and Runing from the said tree downe the Bay south Three hundred pches to a marked pock hiccory tree by the Bay side bounded on the west from the said pockhiccory tree unto the Woods ^well^ for the length of three hundred and twenty pches to a marked Oake in the woods bounded on the North with a line drawne from the said Oake North Three hundred pches to a markt Oake in the woods bounded on the East with a line drawne from the said Oake East for the Length of three hundred and Twenty pches to the first marked Loccust tree by the Bay one the south by the said Bay Containing six hundred Acres of Land together with all Houses |
