266) 276 Llewellin & his heires to the use aforesaid such further assurance & conveyance of the premises as by him the said John his heires or assignes or his or their Councell learned in the law shall be devised advised or required In Wittness whereof the parties aforesaid to these Indentures interchangeably have put their hands & seales the day & year first above written sealed and delivered in the presence of John Rousby Thomas Grunwin William Guither On the back side of the foregoeing Conveyance was thus written M.d That this eight & twentieth day of March Annoq Domj 1682 Came before us underwritten Two of his Lor.pps Justices of the Provinciall Court William Guither within named & Barbara Christina his wife & the said Barbara Christina being by us solely & secrettly examined according to Act of Assembly Did Acknowledge the land within granted to be the right of him the within named John Llewellin as those which the said John hath of the guift of him the said William & Barbar Christina And the said William & Barbara Christina from them & their heires & the heires of the said Barbara Christina Have remised & quite claimed the premises within mentioned to the said John Llewellin & his heires for ever And further they the said William & Barbara Christina have granted for them & their heires & the Heires of the said Barbara Christina That the Land & premises within mentioned unto him the said John & his heires against them the said William & Barbara Christina & the heires of the said Barbara Christina they will warrant & Defend for ever Henry Darnall Will Guyther William Stevens Barbara Christina Guither This Indenture Made the twenty Eight Day of June In the Eight Yeer of the Dominion of the right Hono.ble Charles Absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c And in the Year of Our Lord God One thousand six hundred Eighty & three Beetweene Randolph Henson of Popular Hill in the County of S.t Maries in the Province of Maryland Gent Attorney of Robert Williams of Faulmouth in the County of Cornwell in the Kingdome of England Merchant of the One part & Richard Pullen of Cæcill County in the Province of Maryland aforesaid planter of the other part Whereas The said Robert Williams did by a Certain writing or Letter of Attourny under his hand & seale bearing date the twentieth Day of October in the three & thirtieth year of the Raigne of Our Soveraign Lord King Charles the second And in the Year of Our Lord One thousand six hundred Eighty & One Impower Constitute & Ordaine the said Randolph Henson to lett sett sell assigne & make Over all such Lands & Plantations as the Robert Williams should stand seized or possessed of in the said Province of Maryland for such Consideration or upon such termes as he the said Randolph Henson shall think fitt as in & by the said Recited Letter of Attourny now remaining upon Record in the County of S.t Maries refference being thereunto had may more fully appear Now this Indenture Wittnesseth That the said Randolph Henson as Attourny of the said Robert Williams for a valluable Consideration to him in hand well & truly paid or secured to be paid by the said Richard Pullen at or before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said Randolph Henson doth hereby acknowledge And thereof & of every part & parcell thereof doth acquitt exhonerate & for ever discharge the said Richard Pullen his heires Executors Administrators & Assignes by these presents Hath granted Bargained sold Enfeoffed & released & Confirmed And by these presents Doth fully Cleerly & Absolutely grant bargaine sell enfeoffe release & Confirme unto the said Richard Pullen his heires & Assignes for ever All that parcell of Land called Denby Lyeing in Chesipiak Bay & on the Easterne side of |
