250) 260 whatsoever of and in the within menconed parcell of land and p.rmisses without any feare threats or displeasure of her said husband To be the Right of the said William 24 sd Cromwell his heires and Assignes for ever In testimony whereof Wee have hereunto subscribed our names the day & yeare first above written Annoq.r Dm 1682 Tho Tailler W.m Burges This Indenture made the three and twentyeth day of March in the Sixth yeare of the Dominion of the Right Honoble Charles absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c And in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand Six hundred Eighty and One Betweene Richard Johns of the Clifts in Calvert County in the Province of Maryland Merchant and Elizabeth his now wife sister and heire at Law of Paul Kinsey late of Baltemore County Planter deceased of the one part and Richard Gwin of Ann Arundell County Planter and James Kyle of Ann Arundell County aforesaid Cooper of the other part Witnesseth that whereas the Right Honoble Cæcilius of most noble memory late absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon &c By his Deed of grant or Patent under his great seale used in the said Province of Maryland for granting of lands there bearing date at the Citty of S.t Marys the Twenty Ninth day of June in the Two and thirtyeth year of the Dominion of the said Right Honoble Cecilius &c And in the year of our Lord God One thousand six hundred Sixty and three Did for the Consideracon therein menconed grant unto Paul Kinsey By the name of Paul Kinsey of the said Province of Maryland Planter A parcell of land called Pauls neck lyeing in Chesepeake bay and in a River called Patapsco on the South side of the same River begining att a marked Red oake standing on a point by a Creeke and runing up along the said River North west and by west for breadth one hundred perches to a marked white Oake standing on a point by a Creeke called Deep Creeke for length Three hundred and twenty perches by a line drawne from the said South west line runing South east and by East One hundred perches by a line drawne from the said South east and by east lyne runing North east unto the first bounded Red Oake Three hundred and twenty perches Containing and layd out for Two hundred Acres more or lesse Togeather with all rights profitts and benefitts thereunto belonging (Royall Mines excepted) To have and to hold the same unto him the said Paul Kinsey his heires and Assignes for ever To bee holden of his Lopp and his heires as of his Lopps Manno.r of Baltemore in free and comon soccage by fealty only for all manner of services under such rents Covenants Condicons limitacons and excepcons as in and by the said recited Deed of grant or Pattent relacon being thereunto had it doth and may more at large appeare And whereas the said Paul Kinsey being thereof seized dyed intestate without a will and left behind him One sonn who dyed an Infant by reason whereof the said parcell of land amongst other things came and desended unto the said Elizabeth the now wife of the said Richard Johns as heirs at law to her said Brother Paul Kinsey deceased Now this Indenture further witnesseth That they the said Richard Johns and Elizabeth his said (wife |
