238 248 Bee it Knowne unto all men by these p.rsents that I William Huish of Dartford in the County of Kent Innholder have made ordained and in my stead and place have put & constituted And by these presents doe make Ordaine and in my stead and place doe put and constitute John Walston of the County of Baltemore in Maryland at present in London my true and Lawfull Attorney and Assigne For me and in my name and to my use by all due and Lawfull wayes and meanes whatsoever to Aske demand Leavy sue for recover and Receive of George Parker late of Strowd in the County of Kent Gentl at present in the County of Calvert in Maryland aforesaid or of his heires or goods wheresoever they shall be found Full payment & satisfaccon of One Obligacon bearing date the fourth day of December Anno One thousand six hundred sixty and five Wherein and whereby the said George Parker (together with One William Smallwood) is Obliged unto me in the sume or penalty of Three score and two pounds of Lawfull money of England w.th Condition for the payment of Six and thirty pounds eleaven shillings and six pence of like money on the fourth day of December wch should be in the yeare of Our Lord 1668 as by the Said Obligation and Condition more at Large may appeare And of the Receipt to give due acquittance & discharge And if need bee for the p.rmisses to appeare in all Courts & before all Lords Governo.rs Judges and Justices And to pursue Implead Seize sequester Attach arrest Imprision and to Condemne & out of prison againe when need shall be to deliver With ample power to substitute And generally to doe finish Conclude Execute and Determine all and every other thing and things whatsoever w.thin or about the p.rmisses shall be needfull and Convenient as fully and Effectually as I my self might or Could Doe If I were personally present Holding firme and of Vallue whatsoever shall be Lawfully done in the premisses by vertue of these p.rsents In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale Dated the One and Twentyeth day of August Anno Dom 1682 And in the foure and thirtyeth yeare of the Reigne of Our Soveraigne Lord King Charles the Second of England &c.a Sealed and Delivered in the W.m Huish (Sealed) presence of Aaron Bassett November the second 1682 Thomas Palmer Rich Phillips Then was this proved to be the Act and Deed of William Huish Edw Carpenter by the Oathes of Aaron Bassett & Thomas Palmer Before us William Steevens William Burges Know all men by these p.rsents that I Jarvis Ballard of New England Marchant Doe hereby acknowledge to have received of Henry Darnall of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland gentl the full and Neate Quantity of Five hundred thirty and Seaven Winchester bushells of shoald Indian Corne & also Twenty hogsheads of Tobacco the wch Corne and tobacco as aforesaid being bound for Boston in New England I the said Jarvis Ballard Doe hereby engage my self my heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs and every of them to give the said Henry Darnall or his heires or Assignes a true and Just accompt of what I shall or doe sell the said Corne and tobacco for & returne the Contents thereof according to his order Provided the said shipp arrive at the aforesaid port of Boston |
