(219 Know all men by these p.rsents that I Richard Mallack of Axmister in the County of Devon gentl Adm.r to the goods Chattles and Creditts of Richard Atkins late of the Province of Maryland Marchant deceased Have assigned Ordained and made & in my stead and place by these p.rsence put & Constituted my Trusty and wel beloved Friends George Parker of the Province of Maryland aforesaid gentl & John Bull of Lyme Regis in the County of Dorset Marriner Joyntly or Locus sigill seaverally to be my true and Lawfull Attorneys or Attorney For me and in my Name but to y.e use of Elizabeth Williams Adm.rs unto John Williams late of the Citty of Bristoll Marchant in Signed Sealed in the deed To Aske sue for Leavy require Recover and Receive of all & every person and persons p.rsence of me Whatsoever within the Provinces of Maryland and Virginia All and every such debts Rents Jn.o Burridge Majo.r & sumes of money as are now due unto me by the said Administratorshipp Giveing & granting unto my said Attorneys or Either of them by the Teno.r of these presents my full & whole Power strength and Authority in and about the premisses & upon the Receipt of any such Debts Rents or sumes of money aforesaid acquittance or other discharge for me and in my name to make seale and deliver And all & every other Act and Acts thing and things device & devices in the Law whatsoever needfull or necessary to be done in or about the p.rmisses for the Recovery of all or any such Debts Rents and sumes of money as aforesaid For me and in my Name to the use aforesaid to Doe Execute & performe as fully Largely and Amply in every Respect to all intents Constructions & purposes as I my self might or could doe If I were psonally p.rsent Rattifieing Allowing and Confirming all & whatsoever my said Attorneys and Either of them shall doe or Cause to be done in or about the Execution of the same by vertue of these p.rsents In witnesse whereof I the Richard Mallack have hereto sett my hand and seale the sixth day of September Anno Regni Dm uri Caroli tredi Regis Anglie &c Tricessimo tertio Annoq Dm 1681 Signed sealed & Delivered in the p.rsence of John Gundry Richard Mallack (sealed) Sam.ll Benfeild On the back side of the above L.re of Attorney was thus written March y.e 1.st 1680 This Letter of Attorney Proved this Day before me by the witnesses That is to say by John Gundry and Sam.ll Benfeild in Comon Forme W.m Calvert John Abbington Memorand that att a Provincial Court held att the Citty of S.t Marys the Twenty Sixth day ag.t of May Anno Dm One thousand Six hundred Eighty and One before his Lopps Justices of the same Court Thomas Trueman Came John Abington by Charles Boteler his Attorny and Exhibited to the Court here a certaine Transcript of the Record of Calvert County Court in a Cause there depending between Thomas Trueman Plt and the said John Abbington Deft in a plea of trespas of the Case The Teno.r of w.ch Record followeth in these words Viz.t Charles absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c To the Sheriffe of Calvert County Greeting Wee Comand you to arrest John Abington & him Safely keep soe that you have his body before our Justices of our next Calvert County Court to be held at Calvert Towne the third Tuesday in June next there to answere unto Thomas Trueman of a plea of Trespas upon the Case Hereof you are not to faile & have you this Writt Given under the Seale of the said County the Seaventeenth day of March One thousand six hundred seaventy Nine Prop.ria psona Jut.r & Chr Kellet Deput Clk |
