183 174 herewith adjoyned amounting to sixty three pounds fourteen shillings three pence three farthings is the pewter specifyed in said Brownes account to bee Remaining in Maryland Unsold In Testimony hereof I the said Governo.r have Caused the publiq seale of the said Massachusetts Collony to bee hereunto put and affixed Dated in Boston this 20.th day of November Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred and Eighty and in the Thirty second yeare of the Maj Slyes Reigne over England &c Simon Bradstreet Governo.r Know all men by these p.rsents that I Sam.ll Shrimpton of Boston in New England Marchant for good Cause and Consideracons mee thereunto Especially moveing have Nominated made ordained and constituted and by these p.rsents doe Nominate make ordaine Authorized and many place and stead doe put and Constituted my Respected Friend M.r John Browne of Salem in New England Maryn.r now bound beyond seas to bee my true sufficient and Lawfull Attorney for me in my name and to my Use to Aske demand Require Recover Collect gather in and Receive all & singular such sume and sumes of Money debts goods wares Marchandizes Effects and thing whatsoever wch now are or at any time or times hereafter shall bee due owing paying or belonging unto me Constituant of and from all and every pson and psons whatsover and pticularly of and from the estate late belonging unto James Browne of Salem in New England Marchant (why dyed in the Province of Maryland) his Ex.rs Adm.rs or whosoever may bee posessed of the said estate whether by bill booke obligacon account Recconing Covenant Contract promise agreement partnershipp Consignm.t or by any other wayes or meanes whatsoever Nothing Excepted or reserved w.th all Costs dammages & Interests Also to Compound agree account w.th and take accounts of all and every such pson & psons and of the Receipts Recoveryes Composicons and agreements Acquittances or other Lawfull discharges in my Name to make seale and Deliver And If need bee for the premisses to appeare & the pson of mee Constituant to Represent in all Courts before all Lords Judges and Justices and to doe say pursue attach arrest sue implead prosecute and Condemn all and Every pson and persons who shall refuse to make paym.t of such debt or debts &c and from prisson againe to deliver his or their Estate or psons in Execucon to take and out of Execucon againe to release Likewise one Attorney or more w.th like or Limited Power under him to make and substitute & at pleasure againe to Revoake And Generally in and Concerning the p.rmisses & dependancies thereof to doe say Execute and Accomplish all & whatsoever I the Constituant might or Could doe psonally Although the Matter required more speciall charge & Authority then [illegible] is pticularly expressed And whatsoever my said Attorney shall Lawfully doe or Cause to bee done by vertue of these presents I doe hereby pmise to Engage & allow of Confirme and hold of Vallue for ever In witnesse whereof I have hereunto put my hand & seale this seaventeenth day of Aprill Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred & Eighty & in the Thirty second Yeare of his Majestys Reigne Signed sealed & delivered in the presence of us Edward Lyde Sam.ll Shrimpton (sealed) Sam.ll Hobart |
