The members of the said Board shall be paid the sum
of fifteen ($15,00) dollars for each meeting which they
attend and shall have the power to appoint a secretary,
who may also be a member of the Board and be paid such
compensation therefor as shall be provided in the budget,
and one or more inspectors whose compensation shall be
fixed by said Board[,]. [which together with the actual
traveling, legal and other necessary expenses of the
Board and its officers, shall be paid out of the receipts
as hereinafter directed.] MEMBERS SHALL BE REIMBURSED
FOR EXPENSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL
REGULATIONS.

(e) (2) The representative of county government
and the industrial waste—water works superintendent shall
be appointed for an initial term of two years, the
waterworks superintendent and the waste-water works
superintendent for an initial term of three years, and
the representatives of municipal government and a
sanitary or metropolitan commission for an initial term
of four years; thereafter, all appointments shall be for
terms of four years each. The representatives of the
State Department of Health and the Department of Water
Resources shall serve on the Board at the pleasure of the
respective appointing authorities. Members of the Board
shall be eligible for reappointment. Vacancies on the
Board shall be filled for the remainder of the unexpired
term by the respective appointing authorities. The Board
at its first meeting each year shall select its chairman.
The representative of the State Department of Health
shall be designated as secretary to the Board. MEMBERS
SHALL BE REIMBURSED FOR EXPENSES INCURRED WHILE ACTUALLY
ENGAGED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

(c) The members of the Board shall receive no
salary per diem and shall be entitled to receive their
necessary and proper expenses for travel and otherwise,
out of the monies available therefor in the hands of the
Board IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

Each member of said Board shall receive twenty—five
dollars ($25.00) for each day employed in the actual
discharge of his or her official duties, not to exceed in
any one year the sum of three thousand seven hundred
fifty dollars ($3,750.00) for any member of the Board,
and his or her necessary expenses so incurred. There
