Act shall take effect July 1, 1975.]]
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three—fifths of all the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning
Community Correctional Centers
FOR the purpose of establishing community involvement
boards at community correctional centers;
authorizing center directors and assistant directors
to grant temporary leave to inmates for certain
purposes; providing that rehabilitative services
shall be made available at centers; and authorizing
the use of center facilities by the community.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 706 (e), (f) , (g) and (h) be
and they are hereby added to Article 27 — Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) to read as
follows:
