(C) THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL FILE EACH APPLICATION

RECEIVED AND, WHEN SATISFIED THAT THE APPLICANT IS

ENTITLED TO REGISTRATION. SHALL REGISTER THE BICYCLE

DESCRIBED AND KEEP A RECORD OF THE REGISTRATION IS SUCH A
MANNER TO PERMIT IDENTIFICATION OF THE BICYCLE AND OWNER.

(D) THE ADMINISTRATION, WHEN REGISTERING A

BICYCLE, SHALL ISSUE A REGISTRATION CARD TO THE OWNER

CONTAINING THE DATE OF ISSUANCE, THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF

THE OWNER, THE REGISTRATION NUMBER ASSIGNED TO THE

BICYCLE, AND A DESCRIPTION OF THE BICYCLE.

(E) EACH BICYCLE REGISTRATION AND EACH RENEWAL
ISSUED SHALL EXPIRE AT THE END OF THREE YEARS FROM THE
DATE OF ISSUANCE UNLESS OTHERWISE CANCELLED,. EACH BICYCLE

REGISTRATION, UNLESS RENEWED WITHIN 60 DAYS OF

EXPIRATION, SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE FILES AT THE

DISCRETION OF THE ADMINISTRATOR.

NO PERSON MAY THROW ANY OBJECT AT OR IN THE
DIRECTION OF ANY BICYCLIST, OR OPEN THE DOOR OF ANY MOTOR
VEHICLE WITH INTENT TO STRIKE, INJURE OR INTERFERE WITH A
BICYCLIST.

(A)

A BICYCLE MAY NOT BE SECURED TO THE FOLLOWING;

(1) A FIRE HYDRANT, POLICE OR FIRE CALL BOX, OR

TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE;

(2) ANY POLE, METER OR DEVICE LOCATED WITHIN A BUS
OR TAXI-LOADING ZONE;

(3) ANY POLE, METER OR DEVICE WITHIN 25 FEET OF
ANY INTERSECTION;

(4) ANY POLE, METER OR DEVICE UPON WHICH NOTICE
HAS BEEN POSTED BY THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES FORBIDDING
THE SECURING OF BICYCLES.

(5) ANY PLACE WHERE THE SECURING OF A BICYCLE

MOULD OBSTRUCT OR IMPEDE VEHICULAR TRAFFIC OR PEDESTRIAN

(F) EACH APPLICATION FOR A BICYCLE REGISTRATION
AND EACH RENEWAL SHALL BE ACCOMPANIES BY A FEE OF TWO
DOLLARS. NO REFUND OF THE FEE OR ANY PART THEREOF SHALL
BE MADE AS A RESULT OF CANCELLATION.

(G) EACH BICYCLE REGISTERED SHALL EITHER POSSESS
OR BE ASSIGNED A UNIQUE IDENTIFYING NUMBER WHICH SHALL BE
AFFIXED IN A MANNER PRESCRIBED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR.
