1973] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES 27
Annapolis, Maryland, June 1, 1973.
Honorable Thomas Hunter Lowe
Speaker of the House of Delegates
State House
Annapolis, Maryland
Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17, of the Maryland Constitution,
I have today vetoed House Bill 1432.
This bill provides for the creation and implementation of a Sanitary
District in Queen Anne's County.
House Bill 1610, which was enacted by the General Assembly and signed
by me on May 7, 1973, accomplishes the same purposes as House Bill 1432.
Therefore, it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill 1432.
Sincerely,
MARVIN MANDEL,
Governor.
House Bill No. 1432—By Delegate C. Hickman:

Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County (Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition)), title "Queen Anne's
County", to follow immediately after Section 418 thereof, as added by
Chapter 583 of the Acts of 1966, and to be under the new subtitle "Sani-
tary District", to provide in Queen Anne's County for the creation and
implementation of a Sanitary District in the County, and generally relating
to a sanitary district in Queen Anne's County.
Shall the bill pass notwithstanding the objections of the Executive?
