SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES,
WHILE ON LEAVE IN THE STATE, MAY FISH WITHOUT A TROUT
STAMP DURING HIS PERIOD OF LEAVE IF HE POSSESSES A
COPY OF HIS OFFICIAL LEAVE ORDER WHILE FISHING.
REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) presently appears
as Article 66C, section 207A of the Code,
as amended by Chapter 805, H.B. 805, Acts
of 1973. The provision 207a(a) relating to
retailers of "distilled spirits" has been
revised to be consistent in language with
proposed section 4-611 (a).
Present section 207A (b) is proposed for
deletion in light of the uniform penalty
provision of this title.
Proposed subsection (b) is new language
entirely based upon the provisions of
present section 219A relating to trout
stamps.
The only other changes made are in style.
4-615. NIGHT FISHING IN STREAMS STOCKED WITH TROUT
RESTRICTED.
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 P.M. AND 5:30 A.M.
[[EASTERN STANDARD TIME]], A PERSON MAY NOT FISH FOR
OR CATCH ANY FISH IN ANY NONTIDAL WATER OR STREAM
WHICH THE DEPARTMENT OR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS
STOCKED WITH TROUT, EXCEPT AS THE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES
BY RULE OR REGULATION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Article 66C, section 208 of the Code. The
present reference to fish "of any species"
as well as the reference to "open season"
for trout are proposed for deletion as
redundant. Nomenclatural changes are made
in light of Chapter 348, Acts of 1972.
Reference to eastern standard time is
deleted as redundant in light of Article
94, Section 3, which prescribes the
standard of time in the State. The only
other changes made are in style.
4-616. SIZES AND CREEL LIMITS.
THE DEPARTMENT SHALL SET ANNUALLY BY RULE OR
