such times as may be prescribed by regulations of the Fish and Wildlife
Administration. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this article, fees for
issuance of licenses to take or catch oysters or clams for commercial purposes by
means enumerated in §§ 698(a), 712, 712A, and 712B shall be as follows:

(1)   Shaft or hand tongs

to take oysters                          $25 for each person tonging

or employed on a tong boat

(2)   Shaft or hand tongs

or rakes to take clams             $15 for each person oper-

ating tongs or rake or
employed on a tong boat

(3)   Patent tongs to               $50 for each person tonging
take oysters, OR                        or employed on a patent
DIVING APPARATUS                        tong boat, which license

shall also allow taking of
oysters by shaft [[or]] ,
hand tongs OR DIVING
APPARATUS

(4)   Patent tongs to               $25 for each person

take clams                                   tonging or employed on a

patent tong boat

(5)   Dredge or hand-               $100 for each dredge or
scrape to take oysters             handscrape operated

(6)   Dredge or hand-               $50 for each dredge or
scrape to take clams handscrape operated

(7)   Hydraulic dredge             $100 for each dredge
to take clams of any                operated

species

and licenses shall be issued as prescribed by regulations of the Fish and Wildlife
Administration.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 27 of Article 40 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "General Assembly," subtitle "Legislative Council," to
correct certain errors in the laws pertaining to the Maryland Legislative
Council.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 27 of Article 40 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "General Assembly,"
subtitle "Legislative Council," is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
