Section 1-216.1

(A)    From and after July 1, 1967, the county
shall pay all in excess of [two dollars] ONE DOLLAR
and [forty] SEVENTY-FOUR cents ($1.74) per month of
the individual [Blue Cross] GROUP HOSPITAL cost for
employees of the county who are members of such group
insurance program and AT LEAST fifty per cent (50%) of
the individual [Blue Shield] GROUP SURGICAL PLAN cost
for employees of the county who are members of such
group insurance program.

(B)   AFTER AUGUST 31, 1972, THE COUNTY SHALL
PROVIDE A GROUP LIFE INSURANCE PLAN FOR EMPLOYEES OF
THE COUNTY. THE BENEFIT SHALL BE NO LESS THAN TWO
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00) ON EACH EMPLOYEE'S LIFE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Ordinance shall take effect on September 1, 1972.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the County Executive to
execute a contract on behalf of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland, with the Municipal Code
Corporation for the purpose of maintaining and
editing the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), publishing said
supplements, and matters generally related
thereto.

WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 405 (k) of the
Charter of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, the County
Executive is authorized to sign all deeds, contracts
and other instruments on behalf of the County; now,
therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That the County
Executive be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a
certain contract on behalf of Anne Arundel County,
Maryland, with the Municipal Code Corporation, whereby
