the Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition, being
Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Appro-
priation—Salisbury—Wicomico Economic Development Corporation", be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows and to be known as Section 564-3—Appropriation—Salisbury—
Wicomico Economic Development Corporation.

Section 564-3. Appropriation—Salisbury—Wicomico Economic Develop-
ment Corporation.

The County Council of Wicomico County, Maryland, is hereby author-
ized and empowered to levy the sum of [Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dol-
lars ($7,500)] TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) for
the fiscal year [1969-1970] 1971-1972, and if levied, to appropriate the
same to Salisbury—Wicomico Economic Development Corporation, a non-
profit Corporation of the State of Maryland, to be used by said Corporation
in furtherance of its objectives.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that this Act, having
been passed by the County Council at its Legislative Session of June, 1971,
shall take effect August 15, 1971, unless a proper petition for referendum
thereof shall be validly filed prior to said date, in which event this Act
shall not take effect until the expiration of thirty (30) days following
approval of this Act by a majority of the qualified voters of the County
voting in any such referendum.

An Act to repeal and re-enact Section 564-A of Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition, being
Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), titled
"Wicomico Teen-Adult Activity and Development Center, Inc.",
authorizing an increase in the appropriation of Forty-one Thousand
One Hundred Eighty-six Dollars Fifty-five Cents ($41,186.55).

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF WI-
COMICO COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Section 564-A of Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition, being
Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), titled "Wi-
comico Teen-Adult Activity and Development Center, Inc." be repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows and to be known as
Section 564-A—Wicomico Teen-Adult Activity and Development Center,
Inc.
