(2) His certificate has been secured by fraud or deceit practiced
upon the Board.

(1) Fraud or deceit in connection with his services rendered as
an audiologist or speech pathologist.

(4) Unprofessional conduct as defined by the rules established
by the Board or violation of the Code of Ethics made and published
by the Board.

(5)    Violation of any lawful order, rule or regulation rendered or
adopted by the Board.

(6)    Any violation of the provisions of this subtitle.

800.    Prohibited Acts and Practices.
No person may:

(1)    Sell, barter or offer to sell or barter a certificate of registra-
tion.

(2)    Purchase or procure by barter a certificate of registration
with intent to use it as evidence of the holder's qualification to
practice audiology or speech pathology.

(3)    Alter materially a certificate of registration with fraudulent
intent.

(4) Use or attempt to use as a valid certificate of registration
a certificate which has been purchased, fraudulently obtained, coun-
terfeited or materially altered.

(5) Willfully make a false, material statement in an application
for registration or for renewal of a certificate of registration.

801.    Board BOARDS of Examiners for Audiologists and Speech
Pathologists.

(a)    All persons appointed to the Boards after the date on which
the Boards first issue a certificate of license, as provided in Section
795 shall be persons who hold valid certificates of license. No member
of the Boards may be a member or employee of the State Board
of Health and Mental Hygiene or its departments. Members of the
Boards shall serve until the expiration of the term for which they
have been appointed or until their successors are qualified.

(b)    Their appointments shall be made as follows:

Three members of the first appointed Boards shall have terms of
two, three and four years, respectively, and two members shall
serve terms of five years, all dating from after July 1, 1972. Board
members appointed thereafter shall serve terms of five years.

(c)    When a vacancy occurs upon the Board EITHER OF THE
BOARDS, the Maryland Speech and Hearing Association shall rec-
ommend not fewer than three persons to fill each vacancy, and the
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene shall make his appointment
from the persons so nominated. The physician member of the Boards
shall be selected by the Secretary from a list of not less than three
