(54) Engineer I
Graduation from a university or college of recognized standing with
major work in Engineering; or any equivalent combination of education
and experience.
(55) Engineer II
Graduation from a university or college of recognized standing with
major work in Engineering and two (2) years experience in professional
Engineering; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
(56) Engineer III
Graduation from a university or college of recognized standing with
major work in Engineering and four (4) years experience in professional
engineering; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
(57) Engineer IV
Graduation from a university or college of recognized standing with
major work in Engineering and six (6) years experience in professional
engineering, two (2) years of which must have been at the level of
Engineer III; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements: Possession of or eligibility for a Professional
Engineer's License.
(58) Deputy Chief, Bureau of Engineering
Graduation from a university or college of recognized standing with
major work in Engineering and seven (7) years of professional en-
gineering experience, one (1) year of which must have been at the level
of Engineer IV, Bureau of Engineering; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Special Requirements: Possession of or eligibility for a Professional
Engineer's License.
(59) Chief, Bureau of Engineering
Graduation from a university or college of recognized standing with
major work in Engineering and seven (7) years of professional engineer-
ing experience, two (2) years of which must have been at the level of
Deputy Chief, Bureau of Engineering, or any equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Special Requirements: Possession of or eligibility for a Professional
Engineer's License.
(6) [Carpenter] Maintenance Mechanic
Graduation from a recognized high school, three (3) years of experi-
ence [as a journeyman carpenter] in building maintenance, or any equiv-
alent combination of education and experience.
(61) Trades Helper
Completion of a standard grade school course and preferably one (1)
year of experience as a helper to a skilled tradesman; or completion of a
standard trade school or high school course; or any equivalent combination.
