70. Current Money to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledge and the said John Shaw thereof and therefrom by these presents fully acquitted and discharged and also in pursuance of the Act of Assembly aforesaid Have Granted bargained sold aliened remised released and Confirmed and by these presents Do Grant bargain sell alien remise release and Confirm unto him the Said John Shaw his heirs and Assigns All that Lott of Ground aforesaid Number One hundred and two Together with the Houses Edifices Buildings Improvements Profits and Advantages to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining And all the Estate Right Title Interest Use trust property Claim and Demand whereof Gamaliel Butler in the Act aforesaid mentioned dyed seized and also all the Estate of them the said William Clajon and Mary his Wife of into or out of the same Lott of Ground and premisses and every part thereof To have and To hold the same Lott of Ground and Houses and other the Premisses with the Appurtenances unto him the said John Shaw his Heirs and Assigns for ever to his and their own proper use and behoof and to and fo no other Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said William Clajon and Mary his Wife for themselves their heirs Executors and Administrators do Covenant ^Grant^ and agree to and with the said John Shaw his heirs and Assigns that they the said William Clajon and Mary his Wife and their Heirs the lott aforesaid and Houses and Improvements thereon and other the Premisses with the Appurtenances unto him the said John Shaw his heirs and Assigns against themselves the said William and Mary and their heirs and also against the Heirs of the said Gamaliel Butler shall and Will Warrant and for ever defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto sett their hands and seals the day and year first within written Signed Sealed and Delivered William Clajon by Jon.a Pinkney LS in Presence of Us his Attorney John Brice William Clajon by William Ring L S Sarah Brice his Attorney Mary Clajon s September 1.st 1763 Then Came before Me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Mary Clajon and also William Rind and Jonathan Pinkney on behalf of the said William Clajon and as his Attorneys and the Said William and Jonathan as attorneys aforesaid in Virtue of a Power of Attorney to them heretofore made and the Said Mary in her own Right Acknowledged |
