546 All his the said Joseph Galloways Right Title and Interest of in and to all and all manner of Bonds writings and Contracts whatsoever for the Conveyance of any Lands Tenements or Hereditaments or for the performance of any matter or thing whatsoever Touching or Concerning the said Iron Works or purchases of Lands or Stock therefor made with or to the use of the said Joseph Galloway and Charles Carroll Esquire Charles Carroll Barrister Charles Carroll son of Daniel Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany or any of them or made with or to the use of any Person or Persons whose share part or proportion in the said Iron Works he the said Joseph Galloway is intitled to or Claims In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the day and year first above written Jos Galloway seal Signed sealed and delivered Benj.a Tasker seal in the presence of Sam.l Galloway Richard Wootton On the back of the aforegoing Deed it is thus Written Viz.t Received on the day and year first within written of and from the within named Benjamin Tasker the sum of Five thousand two hundred pounds sterling being the Consideration £5200 0 0 money within mentioned to be by him paid to me I say Received by sterling Witness Jos Galloway Sam.l Galloway Richard Wootton On the fourteenth day of May 1765 came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Joseph Galloway and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments Chattels and Premisses within mentioned to be Conveyed to be the Right Estate and property of the within named Benjamin Tasker his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Deed and the act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Before Geo Steuart Recorded the 20.th day of May 1765 8 3/4 sides Ex.d This Indenture made the Seventh day of May in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty five Between William Woodward of the City of Annopolis Gentleman of the one part and William Garrett Woodward Junior son of the said William Woodward of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Woodward for and in Consideration of the natural Love and Affection which he hath and beareth unto the said William Garrett Woodward Junior and for and in Consideration of the sum of Five Shillings Sterling money of Great Britain to him in hand paid and for divers other good Causes and Considerations him thereunto moving hath Given Granted Bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Give Grant Bargain sell alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said William Garrett Woodward Junior his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that Tract or Parcel of Land situate lying and being in Ann Arundell County Beginning at the Northermost Bounded Tree by the River side of the Land formerly laid out for Robert Taylor and runing with the said Land East fifty Perches then South with the said Land Two hundred and Sixty Eight Perches to a bounded Chesnut Tree of the Land of John Prasly and William Cockey then running with the said Cockey's Land North East One hundred and fifty Perches still with the said Land South South East Ninety |
