422 common Recovery or Recoverys so as aforesaid or in any other Manner to be had suffered and Perfected shall be and enure and shall be Adjudged construed Deemed and taken and are and were meant and intended and are hereby declared to be and enure to the Recoveror or Recoverors in the said Recovery or Recoveries named or to be named and he and they and his and their Heirs shall stand and be seised of the Land and Premises aforesaid and every part thereof to and for the only Proper use and behooff of him the said Benjamin Rumsey his Heirs and Assigns forever and to or for no other use intent or Purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and Affixed their Seals the day and Year first above Written her Sealed and Delivered Rebecca X Stout S his in the Presence of Mk Ezekiel C Bowden Seal Andrew Pearce S Mark John Evitts Benjamin Tumsey s her Samuel Beadle Ruth R Bowden Seal Mark On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t August y.e 15.th 1764 Received of and from the within named Andrew Pearce the sum of Two hundred Pounds Current Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned Test his R.d Tilghman Ezekiel C Bowden Mark her Rebecca X Stout Mark On the fifteenth day of August 1764 came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Ezekiel Bowden and Ruth Bowden his Wife and Rebecca Stout Andrew Pearce and Benjamin Rumsey and did severally Acknowledge the within Deed to be their respective Act and Deed to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes within mentioned and the Lands and Premises thereby Barg.d Sold and released to be the Right and Estate of the said Benjamin Rumsey his Heirs and Assigns forever According to the true intent and meaning of the within same Deed And the said Ruth Bowden being by me Privately Examined ^apart^ and out of the hearing of her said Husband declared that She made her Acknowledgement (of) |
