       In Witness whereof the Parties af.d have to these Presents set their Hands and
       Seals Interchangeably the day and Year first above Written
       Sealed and Delivered                                                     her

                                  On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t

       Be it remembered that on the twenty first day of September in the Year
       of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Sixty four Personally Appeared
       before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Mathew Tilghman
       and Elizabeth Haddaway Parties to the within Indenture and did
       Acknowledge the same Indenture to be their Act and Deed to and for the
       Uses and Purposes within mentioned and expressed In Witness whereof
       I have hereunto set my Hand the day and Year above Written

          Recorded the 22.d of September 1764

Ex.d         This Indenture made the fourteenth day of August in the Year of our
       Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty four Between Ezekiel Bowden
       of Cecil County Gentleman and Ruth Bowden the Wife and Rebecca Stout of the
       same County Widow of the one Part and Andrew Pearce of the same County Gentleman
       of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Ezekiel Bowden and Ruth Bowden
       his Wife and Rebecca Stout for and in Consideration of the sum of Two
       hundred Pounds Current Money to them in hand Paid by the said Andrew
       Pearce at or before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof
       is hereby Acknowledged have Granted Bargained and Sold and by these
       Presents do Grant Bargain and Sell unto him the said Andrew Pearce his
       Executors Administrators and Assigns one Moiety or half Part of a Tract
       or Parcell of Land called Browings Neglect lying and being in Cecil County
       aforesaid Containing four hundred and eighty two Acres of Land together
