Maryland fs.t Be it remembered that on the Twenty Ninth day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & sixty three Arthur Collins Party to this Indenture came before me the subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within named Charles Grahame his Heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent and Meaning of the said Indenture & the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided J Hepburn Recorded 4.th July 1763 16 s.d Examd Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this fifth day of July seventeen hundred and sixty Three Between Gaither Simpson of Ann Arundel County of the Province aboves.d Planter of the one part and Richard Yates Blacksmith of the afs.d County and Province of the other part Witnesseth that the abovesaid Gaither Simpson for and in Consideration of the sum of Eighty Five Pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the Afd Richard Yates the receipt whereof he Doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied Contented and paid Hath Therefore Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Released and Confirmed and Doth by these Presents Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Release Make over and Confirm unto him the afores.d Richard Yates his Heirs and Assign for ever all his the said Gaither Simpson's Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatever to a Certain Tract or Parcell of Land Being part of a Tract of Land Called Spring Garden lying and being in Frederick County and beginning at the End of Seventy sixty Course of s.d Tract of Land and running with the out lines thereof the sixth following Courses from the End of s.d seventy sixth Course North forty five Degrees West Forty Perches then North Thirteen Degrees East One hundred and Eighty Perches then North seventy five Degrees East One Hundred and forty four Perches then North Thirty seven Deg.rs East fifty Eight perches North seventy Nine Deg.rs East One Hundred Perches then South One hundred Perches then with a streight Line to the first Beginning Containing and laid out for Two hundred Acres of Land more or less Together with all and Singular the Premisses and Appurtenances to be afd Parcel of Land belonging or in any wise Appurtaining To have & to |
