       proper Instrument of Writing whatsoever for the better surety and suremaking
       of the Premises with the Appurtenances afd unto him the Said Francis and his heirs
       as shall by him or them or their Council at Law of said Charles and his heirs
       be lawfully devised or required and provided the Same contain no other or more
       General Warranty and Covenants than are herein above specified
       In Witness whereof the said Charles Hammond hath hereunto sett his
       Hand and seal the day & Year first above written

       Received this thirtieth day of August 1763 of Francis Davis the
       Consideration Money within mentioned to be paid being Five shillings
       Currency               Received the same by me                     £ 0  5  0

          August 30th 1763   Then came Charles Hammond Junior
       Party to the within Deed before us two of his Lordships Justices of Baltimore
       County Court and Acknowledged the Same to be his Act and Deed and the Parcel
       of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances thereof within mentioned to be
       the Right and Estate of the within named Francis Davis his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of
       Assembly in Such Case made and Provided   At the Same Time also came
       Rebecca the Wife of said Charles who being privately examined by   and out
       of the hearing of her said Husband declared that she freely and Voluntaryly gave
       up all her Right and Title of Dower &c of in and to the Within named Land
       and Premises with the Appurtenances &c & that she was not compelled thereto
       Thro Force or the Threats of her Husband or Fear of his Displeasure
