203) Feb 27 1758 Then Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Henry Pierpoint and acknowledged the within Indenture to be his act and Deed and the Land and premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named William Hall of Elk Ridge Merchant his heirs and assigns for ever according to the True Intent & meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided Taken and acknowledged before me the subscriber the day & year above said Geo Steuart Received of William Hall of Elk ridge merchant full satisfaction for the sixty pounds Current money of Maryland being the Consideration mentioned in the within Deed P me Henry Pierpoint Witnesses Geo Steuart Arch.d Buchanan Febry 27 1758 Reced of M.r William Hall of Elk Ridge Right shill.s and five pence Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the alienation fine on the within mentioned Two hundred and ten Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esquire his Lordships agent and Receiver General 9 1/2 sides Recorded 27th feb.ry 1758 Rich.d Dorsey Ex.d This Indenture made the Thirtyeth Day of December in the twenty Second year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender (of the) |
