186) The afs.d Sum of thirty Five pounds Eleven Shillings & Six pence Currency with Legal Interest therein from the First Day of August next ensuing the Date of these Presents unto them the Said John Glassford and Comp.a their Heirs and ^or^ Assigns at or upon the first Day of September which Shall be in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty eight Shall and will well and truly pay and Satisfie In Witness whereof the Said John Watson hath hereunto Set his hand and affixed his Seal the day and year above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered Jn.o Watson seal in the Presence of us John Contee Jn.o Cooke On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorst Viz.t Nov.r 9.th 1757 Reced from John Glassford & Comp.a (by the Hands of Richard Henderson) the Sum of ^Thirty^ five pounds Eleven Shillings and six pence Current Money being the Consideration Money for the within Mentioned Lands and Appurtenances Jn.o Watson Witness John Contee Jn.o Cooke 23.d Nov.r 1757 Then came before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court John Watson and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands & their Appurtenances therein mentioned to be the Right of the within Named John Glassford & Co their Heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the same deed and the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided before 9 sides Jn.o Brice Recorded the 28.th Nov.r 1757 |
