her acknowledgment to the Intent of barring of her Dower in the Tenements in the said Deed mentioned and that she made the same Willingly and freely without being induced thereto by Fears or Threats of or ill usage by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure taken before us the Day & year above said Benjamin Chew Recorded Sep.t 15.th 1756 Thomas Savin 11) This Indenture Made this fourt Day of June Anno Dommini one Thousand seven hundred & fifty six Between john Webster of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Gun Smith of the one part & Samuel Gilbert of the same County and Province of the other part Witnesseth that for & in Consideration of the sum of Twelve Pounds Current Money of Maryland that he the said John Webster Hath already Rec.d of him the said Samuel Gilbert and thereof Doth him aquit hath Bargined and Sold Alianated Confirmed & made over and by these presents do Bargin sell Alienate Confirm and make Over unto him the said Samuel Gilbert his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever the one Eighth Part of a Tract of Land Lying in Frederick County in the said Province Containing one hundred Acres called fountain of which he the said John Webster bought of a Certain Cornelius Eltinge as also the one Eight Part of the Lands aded thereunto by Virtue of a spetial Warrent of Reservey on the said Tract of Land Called fountain to have and to hold the said Eighth part of the said one hundred acres of Land and Also an Eighth part of the Land aded by Virtue of the said Reservey and Also an Eighth part of all Oars of mins of Stones Earths or Clays as also the Eighth part of all mines of oars of Coper Tin led iron & as also the Eight of Trees Woods Impertinence ^Appurtenances^ and Improvements Convenienties thereunto belonging Arising or growing or in anywise appertaining unto him the said Samuel Gilbert his heirs and Assigns for Ever and he the said John Webster for himself and his heirs Executors & Administrators Covenants & Agrees to & with him the said Samuel Gilbert his heirs and assigns that the said Eighth part of the said Moiety or one Hundred acres of Land Called fountain with the Eighth part of the Land aded there by Virtue of the said Warrant and Eighth part of all Stones ( ) |
