       Land and so with the said Land to a Bounded Poplar at the End
       of the Said Line thence with the Line of John Redmans to the Head
       of the Creek Containing twenty five Acres of Land more or less and
       the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents issues
       and Profits of the said Moieties parts or parcells of Land and of Each
       and Every of them To have and to hold the Same Moieties
       parts or Parcells of Land herein before Mentioned and intended to
       be Bargained and Sold and each and Every of them unto the Said
       John Attaway Clarke his Executors Administrators and assigns
       from the Day Next before the Day of the Date of these Presents
       for and during and unto the full end and Term of One whole year
       thence next ensuing and fully to be compleat and ended to the intent &
       purpose that the said John Attaway Clarke may be in the Actual
       Possession of the hereby Bargained and sold Land & Premisses
       and may hereby and by force of the Statute of Uses be enabled
       to take a Grant and Release ^of the reversion and inheritance of the same to such Uses Intents and Purposes as shall be therein and thereby specifyed^ Specified and Declared In witness
       whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto sett their
       hands and seals the Day and Year first above Written

Ex.d   This Indenture Made the Seventeenth Day of April in the
       Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty five Between
       John Ten^n^ison of Saint Marys County Planter and Susannah his Wife
       of the one part and John Attaway Clarke of the Same County Gentleman
       of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Tennison
       and Susannah his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Ten
       Thousand pounds of Crop Tobacco to them in hand paid or Secured to
       be paid the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Have Granted
       Bargained Sold Remised Released and Confirmed and by these
