501) the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every Part and Parcel thereof doth fully clearly and absolutely acquit exonerate and discharge the said Samuel Richardson his Executors and Administrators by these Presents he the said John Penn hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said Samuel Richardson and his Heirs All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Hopes Lott was formerly granted by Patent to George Hope may more fully appear and was transferred by George Hope Son and Heir of the first above mentioned George Hope unto Snowden Tayler as per Deed of Conveyance recorded in the Provincial Office Liber P L N.o 8 folio 378 may more fully appear and was transferred by Snowden Tayler unto the above mentioned John Penn as per Deed of Conveyance recorded in the Provincial Office in Liber E I N.o 3 folio 109 may more fully appear the said Land lying in Baltimore County on the North side of Patapsco River being Part of a Ridge called Hunting Ridge Beginning at a bounded Elmm being the Eastermost bounded Tree of William Slades Land and running thence North West one hundred and sixty Perches to a bounded Poplar standing by a Run side descending into Gwins Falls then South West two hundred Perches to a bounded red Oak on a Hill by a Glade then South East to a bounded Hickory of William Slade's Land One hundred and sixty Perches then with Slades Line North East two hundred Perches to the first bounded Tree containing and laid out for Two hundred Acres of Land more or less and according to the Meets and Bounds of the before cited Original Grant And all and singular the Houses Buildings Orchards Fences and Gardens thereunto belonging And also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Right Estate Interest Benefit Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said John Penn of in and to all and singular the Premisses and every Part and Parcel of them To have and to hold the said Land and Premisses herein before mentioned and intended to be hereby granted with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the said Samuel Richardson his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the only Use and Behoof of him the said Samuel Richardson his Heirs and Assigns for ever And John Penn for himself and his Heirs the said Tract or Parcel of Land and all and singular the Premisses with their and every of their Appurtenances unto him the said Samuel Richardson his Heirs and Assigns against all Persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and Defend by these Presents Provided always and these Presents are upon this Condition Nevertheless that if the said John Penn his Heirs Executors or Administrators or any of them shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the said Samuel Richardson his Executors Administrators or Assigns the said Sum of Forty eight Pounds nine Shillings and five Pence Current Money at or before the Twenty ninth Day of August which shall be in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred fifty and five with legal Interest for the same from the Date hereof together with the Charges of Drawing and Recording ^of^ this Conveyance then this present (Indenture) |
