41) Piece or Parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Snowdens Second Addition to his Manner lying and being in Frederick County Beginning at a Bounded Red Oak Sapplin standing on the North side of an Hill and in a line of a Track of Land called Addition to Charley Forrest running thence with the said land called Addition to Charley Forrest South fifteen Degrees East two hundred & twenty Perches still with said Land South Thirty Degrees West one hundred and twenty Perches still with said Land South Seventy Degrees West forty two Perches then South thirty two Degrees East one hundred fifty one an a half Perches hen South sixty one Degrees East one hundred sixty two Perches then North forty two Degrees East one hundred fifty two Perches to Southermost Corner of Weavers Barnses land then Joyning the said Barns's Land and running North fifty eight Degrees West one hundred Sixty five Perches then North forty two Degrees East one hundred eighty Perches then North two Degrees East six Perches then North Seventy three an a half Degrees West one hundred and twelve Perches then North two Degrees West Nineteen Perches then West Thirty six Perches then North one hundred thirty seven Perches then North Thirty five Degrees East fifty five Perches then North forty Degrees West fifty four Perches then by a line drawn to the beginning Tree Containing and now laid out for five hundred and fifty Acres of Land be the same more or less with all singular the Rights Members Jurisdictions and Appurtenances as also all Houses Edifices Buildings Gardens Yards Orchards Feedings Meadows Woods and underwoods Timber and Trees ways Easments Profits Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Land and Premisses or any part or parcel thereof belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said five hundred and fifty five Acres of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances before by these Presents Bargained and Sold or Intended to be hereby Granted Bargained Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and every part and parcel thereof unto the said Mary Davis & Sarah Davis their Heirs and Assigns forever And the said Richard Snowden doth for himself his Heirs Exec.rs & Adm.rs Covenant Promise & Grant to and with the said Mary Davis and Sarah Davis their Heirs and Assigns by these Presents in manner and form following (that is to say) That he the said Richard Snowden at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents is and stands lawfully Seized of a good Sure Perfect and Indefeazeable Estate of Inheritance in fee simple of in and unto the aforementioned Lands and Premisses and also that the said Lands and Premisses is at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery hereof free and clear from all manner of Incumbrances whatsoever and further that he the said Richard Snowden his Heirs Exec.rs Adm.rs shall and will at all times hereafter for ever Warrant and Defend the aforementioned Granted Lands & premisses with every of these Appurtenances to the only proper Use and Behoof of them the said Mary Davis & Sarah Davis their Heirs Assigns forever against all manner of Persons whatsoever that shall or may Claim any Right Title or Interest thereunto and lastly it is Agreed by and between the said parties to these Presents that every of the Assurances so as afd made shall be and shall be always taken to be the only proper Use and behoof of them the said Mary & Sarah Davis their Heirs and Assigns forever and to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever any thing herein contained to the Contrary notwithstanding In Witness whereof the party to these Presents first above named hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the Day & Year above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered in Presence of us Rich.d Snowden Seal Alex.r Warfield Nich.o Gassaway son Tho.s On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) Reced Feb.ry 3.d 1749 of Mary Davis and Sarah Davis the Sum of one hundred & eleven Pounds Sterling it being the Consideration exprest in the within Deed As Witness my hand £ 111 Alex.r Warfield Rich.d Snowden On the third Day of February 1749 Came the within Named Richard Snowden before Us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices for Ann Arundel County and Acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within Named Mary Davis and Sarah Davis their Heirs & Assigns forever (according) |
