268) Ex.d Maryland fs.t Know all Men by these Presents That I Edward Neale of Queen Annes County Gentl am held and firmly Bound unto Edmund Jenings of the City of Annapolis Esq.r in the full and just Sum of five hundred Pounds Sterling to be paid to the said Edmund Jenings his Exec.rs Adm.rs & Assigns to the which Payment well and truly to be made I hereby Bind myself my Heirs Exec.rs & Adm.rs and Assignes firmly by these Presents Sealed with my Seal and Dated this 30.th Day of April 1752 The Condition of this Obligation is such That if the above Bound Edward Neale his Heirs Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assigns do and shall well and truly fulfill Perform Observe and keep all and singular the Covenants and Agreem.ts contained in a certain Indenture bearing equal date herewith and made or mentioned to be made between the said Edward Neale on the one part and Edmund Jenings on the other part on the part and behalf of the said Edward Neale to be Observed Performed and kept Then the above Obligation to be Void else to be and remain in full force and Virtue Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Geo Steuart Edw.d Neale Seal Tho.s Johnson jun.r 2 Recorded April 30.th 1752 Ex.d This Indenture made the Ninth Day of March in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty two Between John Mitchell of Prince Georges County Planter and Elizabeth his Wife of the one part and Lewis Duvall of Prince Georges County Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Mitchell and Elizabeth his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling to them in hand paid by the said Lewis Duvall before the Ensealing and delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged have Bargained and Sold and by these Presents do Bargain and Sell unto the said Lewis Duvall One hundred Acres of Land lying in Frederick County on the West side of Rock Creek being part of a Tract of Land called Dan Beginning for the said One hundred Acres at a Bounded red Oak and running thence North by West One hundred and twenty Perches then North eighty six Degrees Westerly One hundred and twenty ^three^ Perches then South thirteen Degrees East One hundred and forty one Perches then East One hundred and fourteen Perches to the beginning Tree together with the Houses Buildings Orchards Cornfields and Improvements to the same belonging To have and to hold the said One hundred Acres of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances hereby Bargained and Sold to the said Lewis Duvall his Executors Adm.rs and Assigns from the day next before the day of the date of these Presents for and during and unto the full end and Term of one whole Year from thence next following fully to be Compleat and ended to the Intent and Purpose that the said Lewis Duvall may be better enabled to received and take a Grant of the Premisses hereby Bargained and Sold to him and his Heirs and such sort manner and form as in and by an Indenture intended to bear date the day next after the day of the date of these Presents the same shall be Granted Released and Conveyed In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and Seals the Day and Year first above Written (John) |
