24) Seal the day and Year first within mentioned Sealed and delivered in Psence of Geo Rock Seal John Darnall Dan.l Dulany Jun.r At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t Reced of Daniel Dulany five Shill Sterl the Consideration Money within mentd October 21 1749 Geo Rock Witness John Darnall Dan.l Dulany Jun.r 6 1/2 October 21 1749 Then was the foregoing Deed acknowledged according to Law before me one of the Justices of the Provincial Court John Darnall Recorded Nov.r 12.th 1749 Vide release of the aforegoing Mortgage recorded hereafter in fol.o 61 Ex.d This Indenture made this fourth Day of November seventeen Hundred and forty nine Between John Howard Son Benj.a of Ann Arundel County Planter of the one Part and John Hobbs of the same County Planter of the other Witnesseth that the said John Howard for and in Consideration of the Sum of twenty Pounds Sterling to him in hand paid or Secured to be paid at or before the ^En^sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he the said John Howard Doth acknowledge and thereof and every part and Parcel thereof Doth hereby fully clearly and Absolutely Acquit and Discharge the said John Hobbs his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed as by these Presents he the said John Howard for himself and his Heirs give grant Bargain Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto the said ^s.d^ John Hobbs and to his Heirs all that Tract of Land called Bush Creek Hill Originally Granted unto a certain John Parr on the Seventh day of February seventeen hundred and forty four Beginning at two Bounded White Oaks standing near one of the head Springs of Snowdens River being a Branch of Patuxent River and Running from thence North Eighteen Degrees West forty Perches thence North twenty four Degrees East two Hundred Perches thence North a Hundred and four Perches thence North forty five Degrees East One Hundred and Forty Eight Perches thence South forty five Degrees East forty Perches thence South forty five Degrees West One Hundred and forty five Perches thence South One Hundred and Seventy Perches then with a Streight Line to the first Beginning for One Hundred Acres more or less To have and to hold all the Land Contained within the Lines above mentioned together with all and Singular the Appurtenances and Improvements whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise Appertaining to the Premisses afs.d unto him the said John Hobbs his Heirs and Assigns for Ever to the only proper use and behoof of him the said John his Heirs & Assigns and to no other use Intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said John Howard for himself & his Heirs Doth hereby Covenant Promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John Hobbs his Heirs and Assigns that he the said John Howard and his Heirs shall and will from time and at all times for Ever hereafter save and keep harmless as well the said John Hobbs his Heirs and Assigns as all the before mentioned to be Bargained Premisses of and from all former Bargains Sales Joyntures Dowers Titles of Dowers Statutes Judgments Recognizances Executions Rent charge Arrearages of Rent and all other Charges and Incumbrances whatsoever had made suffered or done by him the said John Howard or by any Person or Persons Claiming by or under him and the said John Howard for himself and his Heirs doth hereby further Covenant Promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John Hobbs his Heirs and Assigns that he the said John Howard and his Heirs shall and will at all times for Ever hereafter do make acknowledge suffer and Execute or cause to be made done acknowledged suffered and Executed all (and) |
