473) Francis who being Privately Examined out of the hearing of her Husband freely without Compulsion or threats from her Husband acknowledged the Land and Premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Francis Hall Junior and the Heirs of his Body for ever John Darnall Received of M.r Francis Hall the Sum of One Pound one Shilling and three pence half penny Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned Lands) by Virtue of a Com.n from Benj.a Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver Generall Recorded August 22.d 1748 Rich.d Dorsey Ex.d This Indenture made this fourth day of August in the Year of our Lord God one Thousand seven Hundred forty & eight Between Thomas Hitchcraft of Ann Arundel County Planter of the one part and Samuel Yeamans of the afs.d County Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Hitchcroft for and in Consideration of the full Sum of two Thousand five Hundred and fifty Pounds of good Merchantable Tobacco to him in Hand paid by the said Samuel Yeamans the Receipt whereof ^he^ the said Thomas Hitchcraft Doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully Satisyed Contented and paid, Hath given Granted Bargained Sold, Aliened Released and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Give Gra^n^t Bargain Sell Alien Release and Confirm unto him the said Samuel Yeamans his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that Tract or Parcell of Land called Hannah's Purchase lying in Prince Georges County and Beginning at two Bounded Red Oaks Standing on the East side of a Branch called Daniels Spring Branch and running into Hawlings River and running thence North Eighty Degrees East Thirty two Perches, then North (Twenty) |
