       the Provincial Court of Maryland abovesaid or in the Open Court of
       Annarundel County aforesaid according to the Laws & Customs of
       the Province aforesaid and the Lands & Premisses above Described w.th
       their Appurtenances to be the right Estate & Interest of the said Elliot
       his Heirs & Assigns forever according to the True Intent & meaning
       of that Deed in as full and ample manner as he himself could or
       might do if Personally present In Witness whereof the said
       Jonathan Forward hath hereunto set his Hand and Seal the Day &
       Year above Written

                                                 On the back of the aforegoing Deed was
                                                    thus endorst (Viz)

       Sealed & Delivered (the Words, as also in consideration of the
       Sum of Five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid the Receipt
       whereof is hereby acknowledged, being the interlin'd betwixt the first &
       Second Line in within Deed before the Sealing and Delivery thereof
       In the Presence of

       Henry Donaldson
       M Macnemara
       James Rawlins               April the 27.th 1745 Then Received
                                            of the within named Mathew Elliot
       the sum of five Shillings Sterling Money being the full consideration
       money within mentioned to ^be^ paid by him to Mee
