       hand and Seal the Day & Year above written

       Reced of John Darnall & Charles Carroll the Sum of Two hundred
       Pounds Current Money ^of Maryland^ being the Consideration within

       October 27.th 1741 Then Came before me Robert Gordon One of his
       Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland the within
       mentioned Edmund Kelly and acknowledged the within
       Deed according to the Act of Assembly in that Case made and
       provided

Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made and Concluded on this last
       Day of October in the Year of our Lord Christ Seventeen hundred &
       forty one By and Between Benjamin Tasker Esq.r of ^the City of^ Annapolis
       of the one Part and Joshua George Attorney at Law of Cecil County
       of the other Part Witnesseth that Whereas the said Joshua George
       by his Deed of Mortgage amongst other things hath Mortgaged
       unto the said Benjamin Tasker five hundred Acres of Land in
       Kent County called Chesterfield This Indenture further Witnesseth
       that the said Benjamin Tasker for & in Consideration of the Sum of
       five Shillings Ster as also for other Considerations him hereunto
       moving Doth remise release & Quit claim of and in the said
       five hundred Acres of Land called Chesterfeild unto him the said
       Joshua George his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes To have and to hold
       unto him the sid Joshua George his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes
       All the before mentioned Tract of Land called Chesterfield Containing
       or said to contain five hundred Acres of Land with all &
       singular the Appurtenances thereunto belonging And the
       said Benjamin Tasker for himself his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes
