(85)      former estate otherwise to remain in full strength and vertue
             In Testimony whereof the said Alexander and Christian his
             wife have to these prsents put their hands and seale the day any
             year above written

             On the back of the said Deed was thus Indorst viz.t

             Memorand.m that on the seventeenth day of February Anno Dom
             seventeen hundred & twenty four came before us William Lock Esq.r
             one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial court Alexander
             and Christian his wife partys to the within Deed and acknowledged
             the same and the Land and prmisses therein mentioned to the within
             Sam.l Chew according to the direction of the act of assembly examined
             in such cases provided and the said Christian being examined a part
             from her said husband declared and acknowledged that she became
             a party to the within Deed voluntarily and not by Compulsion or
             threts of her s.d Husband or fear of his displeasur
             sealed and delivered                                             William Lock
             In the resens the words for and in Consideration of the
             prmisses being first interlined

      Ex.d   This Indenture made the ninth day of August one thousand seven
             hundred and twenty five And the eleventh year of the Reign of our
             sovereign Lord King George of Great Brittain &c.a Between Anthony
             Ruley of AnnArundell County Gent and Rebecca his wife of the one
             part and Henry Hill of the same County Gent of the other part Witnesseth
             that the said Anthony Ruley and Rebecca his wife for and in
             consideration of the sum of seventeen pounds fourteen shillings and four
             pence current money to them in hand paid at and before the ensealing
             and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof they the said Anthony
             Ruley and Rebecca his wife do acknowledge and thereof do acquit the
             said Henry Hill his heirs executors and administrators have and do
