(460) Whereof the party first above Named hath
hereunto set his hand and affixed his seale the day and year aforesaid Signed Sealed & Vachel Denton seale Delivered in presence of us Tho.s Worthington John Jones September the 8.th 1730 Then received of the above Named William Worthington the sume of one hundred & Thirty pounds Current Money being the full Consideration Money for the Land and premisses above Mencond I say recd Test p Vachel Denton Thomas Worthington John Jones September the 8.th 1730 Then Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court the above Named Vachel Denton who acknowledged the above Instrument as his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Mencond to be the right and Estate of the above Named William Worthington his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided and at the same time came Anne the Wife of the said Vachel Denton who being secretly examined out of the hearing of her husband Declared that she Relinquisht her right of Dower to the Land and Premisses above Mencond willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or Ill Useage by her husband or fear of his Displeasure according to Act of Assembly in that Case Made and provided Benj.a Tasker Recorded the 25.th Nov 1730 |
