                August in the year of Our Lord God One Thousand seven     
                Hundred Twenty & seven Between Charles Diggs of
                Prince Georges County Gent of y.e one part & Charles
                Calvert of Ann Arundell County Esq.r of y.e other parte
                Whereas Notly Rozer late of Prince Georges County
                Esq.r made publick proposalls of and sett up a Lottery Commonly
                Called Rozers Two Thousand pound Lottery The
                Prizes whereof consisting amongst other things of sundry
                Tracts or parcells of Land And whereas to avoid any
                obstruction to y.e Drawing of y.e s.d Lottery by y.e s.d Notlys
                Death And that y.e Adventures therein Might on such
                Accident have y.e full benefitt of such prizes as they should
                be Intitled to by y.e s.d Lottery y.e s.d Notly did by a Codicill
                duely Executed & Annexed to his Last will and Testament
                bearing date on or about y.e sixth day of Aprill One Thous.d
                seven hund.d Twenty & seven Authorize & Request Col.o
                Thom.s Addison & Charles Diggs afd or either of them to
                convey & make over any y.e lands Mentioned in y.e s.d

                And Whereas y.e s.d Charles Calvert is Intitled to y.e Prize

                one hundred Acres of Land part of a Tract of Land caled
                Elizabeths Delight lying in prince Georges County at y.e
                head of y.e Eastern Branch of Potomock River Originally
                Granted unto Col.o William Diggs y.e Ninth day of March
                One thousand six hund.d & Eighty & Eight for one Thousand
                Acres as in and by y.e Grant thereof relation being thereunto
                had it doth and may more fully and at large appear w.ch
                s.d one hundred Acres is Distinguished in a platt of y.e s.d One
                Thousand Acres Divided into Eight Lotts by y.e Letter
