Estate of the within named Philip Hammond his heirs and assignes for ever According to the true intent and meaning thereof And that she gave up all her right title and Interest of in and to the same unto the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs and Assignes for ever without any threats or fear of the Displeasure of her husband Richard Thacker and according to Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided acknowledged before me this 24 April 1727 Benj.a Tasker Recorded April the 24 1727 Then Came before us, one of his Ldps Justices of the prov.l Court the within named Richard Thacker and acknowledged the within deed and the Land and premisses therein Containd to be the right and Estate of Philip Hammond his heirs and assignes for ever According to the true Intent & Meaning thereof And the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Acknowledged this 29.th of April 1727 before This last Acknowledgm.t recorded 1.st May 1727 between Tho Addison Seven and Eight of the Clock in the forenoon of the same day by Vachel Denton Cl Cur Pom This Indenture made the day of Annoq.r one thousand seven hundred and Twenty six Between Nathaniell Rigby of Ann Arundell County in the province of Maryland Gen.t of y.e one part and Thomas Wells of the same County and Province of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Nathaniell Rigbe for and in Consideration of the sume of Twenty Two Pounds ster and Three Thousand Pounds of Tobacco In hand paid and Thereof and of every part Thereof do discharge him y.e s.d Thomas Wells his heirs Execu.rs Adm.rs and Assigns by these presents do give grant bargain and sell unto y.e s.d Thomas Wells and his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes part of a Tract of Land in Baltemore County on the West side of Susquhanah River and on the North side of Deer Creeke Called Wells Lott Beginning att a bounded Locust Tree standing on y.e s.d River of Susq^u^hanah and Running from Thence South West one hundred Perches to a Marked popler Tree Then Running North West forty perches then Running North West by West two hundred Eighty Perches to a bound Hiccory Thence running w.th such a streight Line to y.e River as shall contain w.thin bounded of y.e Giving line to the first tree |
