                      Denton of Warvell in the Said County of Cumberland and Did voluntarily
                      Make Oath that the Bill above written is a true Copy formerly Sent to Jeremiah
                      Aderton protested against the Drawer And was Endorsed by P.r
                      Beard which Said Bill of Exch.a p the Said Thomas Denton Never did

x.d     Know All Men by these presents that we James Adderton &
          William Ramcock of pemith in the County of Cumberland Merchants
          have Constituted and Authorized Mary Vanswergen of S.t Marys in Maryland
          in Virginia America to be Our true and lawfull Attorney And
          for us and in Our Names by these presents put her as Such for Our
          use to Ask She for Levy and Receive from the Heirs of her late husband
          M.r Vanswergen All and Every Such Sum or Sums of Money Debts and
          Demands whatsoever that shall Appear to be Due to us or Either of
          us from the Said M.r Vanswergen Giving and granting unto Our Said
          Attorney Our full power and Authority in and About the premises And
          on the receipt of Any Such Debts or Sums of Money Acquittances or
          other Discharges for us and in Our Names to Make Seal and Deliver
          And All and Every Such Act and Acts Thing and Things Device and Devices
          in the Law for the Recovery of all and Every Such Debts or Sums of Money
          as aforesaid for us and in Our Names to Do Execute and perform as fully
          largely and amply in Every respect to All Intents and Purposes as if
          we our Selves Might or Could Do if personally present Ratifying and
          Confirming whatsoever our Said Attorney shall lawfully Do in and
          about the Execution of the premises by Vertue of these presents In
          Wittness whereof We have hereunto Set our hands and seals the
          twenty Ninth Day of January in the Ninth Year of the reign of
                                                                                                King
